Re: Ajax jerseys, kit sponsors
^What year was that shirt from? It looks nice and shows that Adidas can use the three stripe logo in an interesting way rather than destroying the look of the shirt. As I've said before they already have their little three stripe patch on the front of the shirt which is OK with me as Nike, Puma and others pretty much do the same thing. To ruin the classic look of our shirt the way they have done the last several years is just bad! I've already decided not to buy a new shirt this year because of this (though I'm sure this won't bother Adidas at all).

Re: Ajax jerseys, kit sponsors
I'm pretty sure this is the 1995/1996 Champions League shirt as it seems like at this picture Jari Litmanen was destroying Panathinaikos in Athens with a 0-3 victory in the Champions League semi final.
Agree with your opinion. If Adidas does some traditional thing with our shirt, that will be noticed by everyone. That will gain appreciation at all football fans.

Those pinky things on our away shirt are just ugly. The team looks and plays like a bunch of glamorous pussies. Whoever accepted that shirt on our side has no taste at all.

I think this (2007-08) is still my favorite of recent years: collars are better than no collars, imho, and simple is better than busy. (I've got this one at home

If you are appropriately sized and missed out on it, this is as cheap as for a new shirt:

Ajax Away Shirt 2011 in SMALL for £25.00

Re: Ajax jerseys, kit sponsors
I want another example of the 2012/2013 away kit. I already have one with number 10 and Bergkamp printed on the back.
Now I want to put number 41 and TEST PLAYER on it. Let's see if some small league football clubs with a big wallet of money get impressed so much by that sign (and because of my skills) so that they will offer this 30 year old tall guy a contract!

If they didn't offer you a contract with the Bergkamp shirt, I wouldn't hold out much hope for a Test Player shirt!Cruijff schreef:I want another example of the 2012/2013 away kit. I already have one with number 10 and Bergkamp printed on the back.

I did not go to a trial wearing the Bergkamp shirt. Even I think that is a little bit too arrogant.
By the way, Monday I will attend a match of Roland Bergkamps former team.

Re: Ajax jerseys, kit sponsors
the price of shirts is stupid these days though, i used to get every shirt, home and away on the week it came out. now if i want an ajax shirt with name and number its €110 plus delivery of €25... what a joke... €135 for a shirt. no thanks.

^ weird, they carry LA Galaxy shirts but not DC United. For all you United fans go here: http://www.dcuteamstore.com/Jerseys/3037/3020-3037/dept

I've ordered myself, they look pretty real. It's worth trying to start with one shirt for this price!

Re: Ajax jerseys, kit sponsors
a friend of mine got some shirts off a similar site for our 5-a-side team a few years back. they were very good quality (website said seconds or slight defect) but pretty sure they werent the real deal. the ones he had were £12 plus £4 delivery. came from thailand.
i had the light blue holland away shirt from a local sports shop and then that from that website, and the shirts were near identical, just slight difference on the size.

It's better than the three Adidas stripes on the sleeves. If these guys pony up big €s I really don't care!

this would be to replace Aegon, not Adidas.

I know that, I just hate the stripes on the sleeves. The Adidas logo on the shirt itself should be all they need; Nike and Puma don't go in for logos all over.

Great site about football kits: 26kits.com. They're also on Facebook and Twitter. Look them up.
They published this article today about Ajax kits - and they asked me a bunch of questions:
