watched their goal again and imo Vermeer should have caught the ball but just punched it to the feet of an unmarked man.

We're playing a step slower than they are, and with less drive -- we are still doing that same old tactic of slowing down and holding the ball instead of keeping the attack going (like they are doing to us). No one is having a good game today, but Vermeer has really been awful on a number of crosses -- flopping like a fish on the dock. Maybe he should burn those oversized gloves of his. Hopefully they will start to click in the 2nd half.

Nope, it's straight red as van Rhijn was a step behind and it was a goal scoring chance inside the box.

The penalty and the red card really screwed us over. We completely outplayed AZ in the seconde half before that somewhat bizarre call.

Yeah, I mean we weren't really playing well, but you can't say the red card and penalty (whether correct or not) didn't influence the outcome.
