PEC Zwolle are 14th, but they're somewhat of a 'giant killer', so we better take this one seriously.

Last weekend everybody expected Ajax to drop points, this upcoming might turn out to be an interesting one for us...

Cuenca has fluid on the knee and wont play . Not sure we will see him again as the knee is clearly not right. He was starting to look the part v ADO his last game and nearly won it in the last minute.

Dijks has a minor ankle injury and will likely be fit next week.Expect Denswil to be sub. FDB also said today Sulejmani will be training with the group again on Monday after a hamstring injury.Not sure whether this implies he may still consider him again!!

I think this is to keep Meleg happy as Sulejmani is helping him out getting acclimatized with the language.

Probably something like that Orange14. Ajax wants Meleg to feel like home at Ajax and two Servian teammates (there is also one with Servian background in the A1) are helpful with that. Miralem is by far not a good example for a professional football player, but he is an 'easy going guy' with always a smile on his face.

Ajax will continu wasting money on Sulejmani for a couple of months and then it's good bye Miki. Several people are whispering he already did sign a contract with Benfica starting on 1 July 2013.

Appears Bergkamp has had a few words to our forwards; they have not scored in 7 games? I knew it was bad but that is shocking. He goes on to say that as PEC always tries to attack that this would be a good opportunity to end the drought. God sake's let hope so.
They have had chances it seems.... Let's really have a go at them!

Orange mentions Sulejmani helping Melag with language but I believe Sulejmani does not speak Dutch ,does speak english!
I don't see Sulejmani playing for us again.

PSV lost their game to Herenveen so we can take over the lead if we bear down and get the job done. Just so we don't take Zwolle for granted and put in a 100% effort we should come out on top.

Decent enough first half, lots of possession and very few stupid plays. I still think that there is still too much tentative build up from the back and they need to push the entry passing a little more. Don't know if de Jong just took a knock to his leg or if he twisted his knee. Would not be surprised if FdB subs him out in the 2nd half. Blind did well on defense making a couple of really nice plays to dispossess the Zwolle attacker when there was some danger. Keep looking to shoot on frame, the Zolle keeper is shaky.

Well, I don't think we're playing much better than our last two home games, but we've put away the chances that we've had so no complaints from me.

After a sluggish start, a defence splitting pass by Schone and a cool-as-you-please finish by Siggi, the team comes to life. A quick pass up to the right wing and a fierce 45 degree angle cross into the box is too hot for the goalie to handle -- Siem with an acrobatic finish and we are up 2-0.
