I hope we sign Luciano Narsingh. With Derk Boerrigter on one wing and Narsingh on the other, could be lots of gray hair for opponent coaches. Not that there is anything wrong with gray hair .

I just got the dumbest tweet on this topic from Ernst Bouwes - Ajax are looking at Gianni Zuiverloon to take over when Van der Wiel leaves. I certainly hope this is just a joke given that we have an adequate replacement in van Rhijn with Ligeon his backup.

Van rhijn is already proven, totally won the duel against mertens in the psv game, that makes more than able to be an ajax right back. He deserves his chance just like van der wiel had his.

well we wont be buying another goalie for our 3rd goalie spot as A1 youth Mickey v d Hart will be replacing Verhoeven next season as our 3rd goalie .Good news indeed . The future of our club is youth and mainly Oranje.

We are looking at Elia instead of Narsingh .Not sure what to make about him but cannot see him coming back to Holland having left for the big leagues . Both these players kicked out of our youth and now we would have to pay a few million for either!!!

Elia will be almost free, he does not play at all in the Juventus squad. That transfer was a wrong choice and Elia was interested in a transfer to Ajax last winter when Sulejmani got injured.

I don't know about Elia, we already have Boerrigter on the left wing with Ebecilio as a back up. I don't want to splurge €s on a player unless there is really good value. Narsingh is a terror on the right wing and would fill a gap on the team. I don't think one can say the same about Elia.

No need to spend for Eljero Elia . Derk Boerrigter more than demonstrated that he is just the winger we need ...tall , pacy, good crosser of the ball, nose for goal. Spend the euros on Luciano Narsingh .

I'm not sure about Elia either. Perhaps his transfer fee would be modest but I doubt his wages would be. I think Ajax is pretty well set in the forward and midfield areas. Narsingh would be a nice addition but only if Sulejmani is sold. Perhaps wait another season and get Narsingh on a free transfer....

Don't know much about Schone, but he has scored 10 goals for NEC this season and we got em' on a free so that's a great deal. The Ajax midfield now looks a bit congested for next season however. Maybe that's not a bad thing.

There doesn't seem be many youth players coming through except in defense.
Van Rhijn has been groomed to take over from Van der Wiel and I like him. Gregory's man of the match award for the Twente match was...astonishing. Not that he did'nt deserve it but as a defender he doesn't play much defense. I hope that display earns Ajax a healthy transfer fee....
Van Rhijn will need a backup. Is Tolvomaki an option from the Young? I don't think Ligeon is up to it. On the other side Boilesen would seem the answer but he was only able to play in 4 games this season and this must be a concern. Koppers and the promising Dijks are not yet ready so we need to purchase here too. I see Poulsen from AZ has been mentioned. I'd rather like to see young Wijnaldum of AZ and then see which of these youngsters can do the job. CB is where Ajax needs to spend some cash. Again Ajax has some young CB but are not yet ready either. I'd like to see 2 or 3 new big nasty CB. Toby scares me. There are lot's of good one's in the Eredivisie: Botteghin, Yoshida and Wromgoor. Plus all the others that have been named...Moisander, etc.
I'm already looking forward to next season and 3 is a row!

He was supposed to be the biggest talent since Sneijder they said. I still remember the fight which got Vito kicked out though. I think Manucharyan owed Vormgoor money which he had lost at poker. Vito took things into his own hands and took the money from Manucharyan's bag/locker. That was the end of that.

If he's turning into that good of a defender, I for one can't see why we can't bring him back. They were both 18/19 then and I can forgive him that error of judgement.

I heard Vito's better now. Only two yellow cards this year and gave up poker. It was a long time ago....

According to the Sun paper Narsingh and Assadi are in London to sign for Fulham. Looks like we can forget Narsingh

Other reports suggest that we talked to Narsingh yesterday (monday) and on some boards I read that only Assaidi was in London with mister Mino Geldwolf Raiola.
Let's hope it's like that. Otherwise there's the Elia option, and although Narsingh is far better now, this would not be a bad move at all. But I prefer Narsingh!

for me, no.
we need:

- a both footed CB who can play paired with Alderwireld but also with the others if Toby gets injured (Moisander? Douglas? Nuytinck? Chivu is just too expensive, don't believe the "I love Ajax" thing until I see it)
- a right winger (Sulejmani and Ozbiliz are note pure RW, Lukoki I find him very classical ajax material but maybe still to develop)
- a backup, young, promising striker if Castillion is not good enough (I read we are following this Branimir Hrgota: anyone knows him?)
- I find nice the idea of FdB of a new LB: Simon Poulsen?
- plus, Schone has already arrived to replace Lodeiro

if we confirm also Aissati and Sulejmani, we will have some luxe-problem, but hey: the more quality, the better.
