Ajax go back in training this week. The first training session of the new year is today, I believe.

Ajax's first game of football of 2012 is on Friday: against First Division outfit, Almere City FC, at De Toekomst. Kick-off time: 14.30 CET. Admission is free.

The next day Ajax fly to Brazil for a training camp and a friendly match against Palmeiras.

EDIT - just saw in de Telegraaf that the match ended up 1-0 with a goal by Bulykin the decider.

1-0 win .Missing today V D Wiel slight injury , Boilesen still not 100% and not going to Brazil and neither is Koppers who has picked up an injury.Serero missing also.
