Well this has to be the worst match of van der Wiel's career, he has had an impact on all three of ADO's goals.

Another loss to a team of lesser quality. We again show an inability to break a team down when we have 60% of the possession. Questions must be asked of our midfield who again are too slow to react and pass. de Jong cannot play in the midfield (and he can't play up front either) as he is a liability out there. Enoh likewise. Cvitanich was pretty much absent save the one opening he had and couldn't control the ball for a shot. Castillion was not on long enough to tell if he is the answer. Sulejmani was absent again except for the well taken corner. Eriksen is the only player on the team who seems to know what to do with the ball. Ozbiliz again showed immaturity trying to play too much one on one and conceding the ball; however, he seems to be the only one who knows how to cross the ball. Lukoki was not on long enough to do anything good or bad. Vertonhen was good but a late yellow cards means a suspension for the next match. Alderweireld was average. Anita had a good goal line clearance and wasn't beaten on defense. Verhoeven played as well as he could and had one great save when things were even at 2. I think the second goal was deflected off of van der Wiel. I've already commented on van der Wiel, but one outstanding question remains, WHY CAN'T HE CROSS THE BALL? Oojier did not contribute to this debacle.

de Boer needs to get some Barcelona game tapes and show this team how with pint size forwards and crisp midfield passing a team can score goals. Until we find some players who can think about passing and creating space this team will remain average.

woeful defending. I have watched VdWiel all season and would like to know why Chelsea Man C and Barca want to pay 15m plus for him!!. Anita was ok and you cannot really blame Verhoeven.

Apart from the goals we conceeded the crowning moment was seeing Vertonghen yellow carded so I do not get to see my favourite player live when I come to watch us play Heracles.

In midfield Eriksen is in a different class to the others. I had a go at Demy the last 2 games but Siem and Enoh are no better.Upfront Cvitanich is not good enough, Sulejmani was poor again and Ozbiliz is
not as effective as Ebecilio. Castillion looked ok to me and I think we should pursue with him.

We can forget about winning the league but must hope we can somehow finish 2nd but at present I would not put my money on it. Suarez being sent off v Psv started the slide and Steks injury has completed it .

Ps to anyone who want to have a go at Verhoeven look at the Arsenal v WBA game from yesterday , Almunia of Arsenal is the worst goalie I have every seen at top level .Their reserve is Lehmann ,aged 41 and he was not much better when he played for them. These 2 clowns make Pizzaman look ok

My home club, DC United, has their first two choice keepers on the sideline as well and we are forced to start our keeper coach who has come out of retirement at the age of 42!! He actually had a decent match last night as we won our opener. However, the feel good story was former US NT striker Charlie Davies who almost lost his life in a horrific car accident 13 months ago came on in the second half and scored twice so I'm partially happy this weekend.

Agree fully with you on Verhoeven. He has done everything asked of him.

If Anita must play left back, de Zeeuw should be slotted into the defensive mid position. At least he sees the field. As to the lack of a striker, there is no solution to that right now unless El Hamdaoui decides to play Ajax football.

I would go with Blind at LB and Anita at DM as neither Enoh nor de Zeeuw are good enough at DM.

Enoh and de Zeeuw would be on my list of those being sold this summer as neither have been good enough all season imo.

Hope that in 2 weeks time Lodeiro may be fit enough to be sub and for the last 3 or 4games we can have Eriksen, Loderio and Anita as MF .Castillion can start up front in every game and just bring on Cvitanich for 20 mins or so. I assume El H wont play again.

Not having a proper central striker has cost us dear this season.

Better put de zeuw, anita and enoh in the MF amd and don't care who up front. Same with vd Wiel. I allways knew the guy is a moron! All this rumors for Bayern, Barca and Juve are totaly bullshit. We sould loan him to nac breda or so. Same with father's boy Daley. Him we must send in Ajax Zaterdag and on the labor market.
The sad thrue is, we don't have palyers AND coach! And this is for years

De Jong has his faults and so does every player you list. How about Anita leading in the 1-0 today? This team needs a solid #9 before anything else.
