Don't think so. He came on in the 66th minute and got a red in the 73rd. That definitely wasn't a red card.

Finally, now I can have a normal end of the week without whning about Ajax losing to the last placed team. Hup Ajax!

ADO lose but it looks like Twente again will pull one out in the final 10 minutes as they go up 2-1. At least we got a result today though it was hard to find anyone who stood out. Ozbiliz had a good match coming on. Cvitanich was active but missed a couple of chances. Anita had a wonderful match controlling in midfield and passing the ball well. Eriksen had a good match, great run to score and some good passing. Nice goal by Vertonghen but he almost gives it up at the other end with a high kick. Alderweireld was OK other than his failed clearance on the Willem II goal. Sulejmani was a ghost pretty much absent. Ebecilio didn't do much other than the diver to get the yellow card. de Zeeuw again proved that he is not an attacking danger. de Jong got a goal but otherwise was MIA; he is so static as a midfielder that he's pretty much of a liability out there. van der Wiel was mediocre; poor slow passes and again no solid crosses, I expect more from an NT fullback particularly in a match like this where he doesn't need to worry about defending. Blind was decent, nothing more. Verhoeven had some good reaction parries but spilled the ball twice by my count when he should have held on.

Maybe it was the hangover but in matches such as this one the opponent should be put away in the first half. We are still very soft on our passing (a problem all season) and we tried going over the top too often when Willem was holding a high line. We need to do better.

A much better 2nd half with 3 well taken goals. I felt positive seeing de Zeeuw not coming back and also Ebecilio had a poor 1st half. Good pass by Ozbiliz to set up the 1st. He looked ok having finally been given more than 10 mins .
No way was that a red card for the Willem guy . For a team bottom with a 11 points they did not look too bad , V d Heijden did ok for them with that lovely left foot of his . He obviously learnt his passing at Ajax and could well be back next season.

Not sure Cvitanich is the answer but at least it was good to see him getting some playing time .He should start v Sparta. Good news that Lodeiro plays for the Jong tomorrow night.

Just to say imo Anita looks a better defensive midfielder than either Enoh or de Zeeuw.

Why not? He is a great link up player, far better on the ball both with respect to control and passing ability than either de Zeeuw or Enoh. He is seldom caught out of position and does not commit sill fouls the way Enoh does.
