The match will be played in Hamburg, at HSV's Imtech Arena. According to a report on Ajax Netwerk 20,000 tickets have been sold. Not bad.

For those living in Holland: the game will be shown live on Eredivisie Live. Ajax will play without the guys who played at the World Cup in South Africa last summer: they have a few extra days off.

And Ooijer is very nice for Van Nistelrooy and lets Ruud score his 3rd of the game, because Ooijer thought that Ruud was off-side... but he wasn't.

A much better second half, well it could not have been worse! Ebecilio, Ozbiliz and Blind all looked good for the future.

I'm glad I totally forgot about this match. It was nice watching Barcelona this evening. Our old nemesis Ibi Affellay got a nice run in the final 10 or 12 minutes and looked good on the ball (no surprise there). Good to have a proper Dutch footballer at Barca again. Oh yes, they keep the Helmond Cup for another match winning 4-0 over Deportivo.
