Unusual question this I know but can anyone in the Netherlands tell me if there's any organisation I can complain to if I've bought something over the internet from a Dutch company which hasn't arrived.

In the UK we have something called the 'Mail Order Protection Scheme' (MOPS) but is there something similar in Holland?

In Australia if you order something and it never arrives, you can lodge a complaint with your credit card company and they'll chase it up for you...

Yeah thanks. That's the same here. I think I might have paid through Paypal but I'll look into it today. The sods took a month and much prompting to acknowledge that I'd paid even and now won't answer my e-mails even.

It's the contracted out online shop attached to a very well know Dutch institution (not Ajax) so I think I might go through them as well.

Yeah, PayPal also has buyer protection as far as I know, so if you've used PayPal with your credit card them shonky traders should get a cascade of legal letters on their arses...

You make it sound worse than it really is. The deal is "you can link to your site when the link is relevant to the discussion, but not as a footer under each and every post." Same applies to Kowalczyks own blog. I once got bitten by that rule myself back in the days before I fell into the scorpion pit called the moderators zone.

And those who keep forgetting the URL can always refresh their memory on http://ajaxtalk.nl/ajaxtalk_extra/links/ . I've put you there right under the old AjaxUSA site. So keep writing those match reports for those who still didn't learn how to read dutch yet :)

I have problems with google translate once in a while too. If google translate doesn't work - try this - http://babelfish.yahoo.com . It's not as good as google translate but can get the job done.

I found this by chance on Wikipedia and I'm assuming I'm not the only one interested. I knew FC Oss had been relegated but didn't know into what structure exactly but this explains it all pretty clearly.

Looks like my team Croydon Athletic are going bust-the old chairman Dean Fisher is in prison for fraud and the owner is all over the news this morning admitting money laundering through the team in a News of the World exclusive re dodgy betting in the England v Pakistan cricket-using my phone so can't post a link but front page in the paper and all over the website

It's a ticket for Blackpool v Rapid Vienna at the Amsterdam Olympic Stadium on 31st May 1953. Blackpool were FA Cup holders at the time so would have been a good draw but I can't find anything at all about this game, did manage to find some pictures on a Dutch site of some Athletics at the stadium that day but would be really interested if anyone knows anything about the event.

Wee bit nerdy I know but it's a link however tenuous between my two teams so I'm really curious. (If it had been a bit less than £20.00 I might have actually bought it as well)
