Cup match tomorrow in Enschede. Will the result be better than the last time out? One thing is for sure, a winner will be decided. Veltman will be back but he's the only one as the other missing players all have long term injuries.

Ajax starting XI versus FC Twente:

Onana; Veltman, De Ligt, De Jong, Dijks; Van de Beek, Schöne, Ziyech; Neres, Dolberg, Kluivert.

Looks like Marcel is taking this seriously.

Veltman back was obvious and Dolberg for KJH also. KJH's experience won the game on Sunday but at 34 he is not going to play 3 days later other than as a sub.

Hope to get a stream.

Having veterans is always useful, esp. with a load of kids around. I would love it if Ajax had a vet in each section of the field, e.g. Attack, midfield and defence.

Looks like Twente just want to sit back and defend. they had one chance on a counter but Dijks covered it pretty well. As long as Ajax keep possession and don't concede a dumb turnover they should win this cup tie.

Been watching it on google chrome book, whilst eating, so only just seen Ayman's question about a stream .Its the top one on cricfree ,picture freezes a bit but good enough ( I have been spoilt as all league games to date have been live on skytv)

So extra time it is; just what this team did not need. S de Jong slips and Asaidi, who Veltman did a nice job on all match long, gets the free shot on frame and a deflection leaves Onana flat footed.

Oh great complete control all the 2nd half then let them score. Siem deJong gives it away and lets the guy shoot.

That was caused by terrible substitutions. vd Beek was playing as a central defender for a few minutes there

I guess Ajax can hold out for a penalty shootout.

15 more minutes to suffer then we lose on penalties!!!

Penalties is close to a coin toss, but I have faith in Onana. Hunter, Schöne also experienced and good penalty takers. Mentally we have more to lose I guess. Nail biting finish.

Garbage. Too weak to beat Twente in two attempts. Lost control of the match when Frenkie was replaced by Siem.

Good stream all teh 2nd half and all Et until the last minute .Not sure I will bother watching pens as we shall lose.
