No league football in the weekend of 26 and 27 March (due to internationals).

The Eredivisie resumes the following weekend. Matchday 29. Ajax vs Heracles Almelo (14:30 CET kick-off).

Ajax are 5 points behind Twente and 6 behind PSV. If we beat Heracles we'll close in on at least one of the two, because they play each other in Enschede on Saturday night (02 April, kick-off 18:45 CET).

Really bad news today. Apparently Toby Alderweireld suffered a thigh muscle injury while training with the Belgian NT. He is certainly out of the two Euro matches for Belgium and it's not clear about the upcoming Ajax matches. I can see a geriatric central pairing of Oojier and Oleguer coming up!

I guess that's why we kept them on the roster.

Ugh. Without Maarten to bail them out we're going to really have out work cut out for us.

Vermeer will be back.

Well this is the big one for me as I will actually be there.Will be meeting up with Ko and his mates and thanks to him for sorting me out with a ticket . Cannot wait to see Ajax live in the Arena.
On Saturday I am going to the museum, club shop and then the Toekomst where our A1 are playing Fword A1 .

Will be a busy weekend as I am staying with my cousin, will have to see my Aunt,and my cousin wants me to have a long cycle ride on Monday to show me Huizen,where he lives. And I will have to have a look around Amsterdam.
Mind as I wont get much time in the city I will be making another visit in the next year for sure. I have told the wife that I intend on making one visit to watch Ajax every year from now on.But first of all this weekend awaits .

Rubeon Ligeon and Nicolai Boilesen (Both A1) have been added to the match selection for tomorrow, which also sees the return of Nicolas Lodeiro.

I've never known how to get the SopCast number from the channel (or to enter a number directly into SopCast, for that matter) but the channel's name is 13th Stream...

Couple of things:

1. we nearly conceded in the opening passage. Senior Citizen cleared off the line.
2. Heracles are sponsored by Ten Cate!?
3. The commentator is talking about Danny Blind being upset that JC wants him out in the new structure. I saw the Powerpoints JC put up but I think DB should stay in some form in the new structure. But who knows the real reason, do share?
