Mark Verkuijl , 19 year old DM of Jong Ajax has extended to June 2028. Has had injuries in the past but fit this season and doing well at Jong.

For the record 8 more Jong have contracts running out in June or 1 year options. Jermoumi, Chahid, Chourak and Boerhout all have options of 1 more year and those running out Brandes, Speksnijder ,Woolf and Vink. They have to be told by 31 st March whether they are getting extensions.

I dont follow the u16 but Xander Newstead ,16 this month signs to June 2028. a MF born in USA.

The only 3 players born in 2009 I do know are Simeon , a winger from U17 and not 16 until December , Ouazane MF been at u17 since Jan and Abdalla a MF just breaking into U17 .He joined from PSV last summer and was promised a contract when 16.

Ouazane rated one of the top talents in our youth so hope he signs soon .

Following on from the release of 5 Jong there are 3 others with contracts expiring. Chourak's option to 2026 has been lifted so he stays,Wolff is near to signing a 3 year contract and Vink is being offered an extension.

From U17 Joeri Cruden a16 MF ,who has been out injured a lot this season signs a contract to June 2028. Meanwhile Simoen and Ouazane are being offered contracts.

Manu fancy Ouazane but he is 16 and EPL clubs cannot sign kids from abroad until they are 18. He is not 18 until Jan 2027 so a nonsense story.

2 more youth contracts Guus Olgers U16 goalie signs to June 2028,highly rated and it says foreign sides were looking at him. Meanwhile U19 CD Mylo v d Lans has extended from 2027 to 2030,just 18 hence the long extension. Not sure he is one of the top talents but Ajax must have great faith in him.

Still waiting for Ouazane and Simeon they are the main 2 to be contracted.

17 year old Anass Moumane a winger with amateur AFC (an Amsterdam club) is joining the U19's next season and is given a contract to 2027 .PSV ,Twente and AZ all wanted him .He was let go by Ajax aged 12 and comes back highly rated but we will see.

Mohamed Abdalla a 15 year old Mf signs to June 2028. He came from PSV last summer and is not 16 until Oct but highly rated.

Simeon and Ouazane still the main 2 from our u17 to sign.

Kayden Wolff 18 year old Jong winger agrees a new contract to 2028. Of the Jong players with contracts expiring next month just Vink to extend.Appiah, now playing with Jong also has an expiring contract.

He is a great shot blocker and proved it in the Future's Cup.

Davy Klaassen has verbally agreed a new contract to 2027, many fans on Showtime in meltdown but he scored more goals that Brobbey and will only be used as a sub . We still have 30 players with the rubbish returning from loan and at least 15 of them will go. We need some experience and I would rather see him that Berghuis who really does not deserve a contract extension.

Pasveer has been offered a 1 year deal to become our no 2 .I have no problem with that but need a decent goalie signed.

Sean Steur has agreed a year extension to 2028 and Mokio is well on the way to extending for the same period. You cannot sign contracts longer than 3 years until 18 so these 2 ,when 18 next year and due for a major contract will still have a 2 year contract.Ajax want to avoid situations like Misehouy ,who sat down at 18 with only a year left and did not agree so left.

Ajax are really going back to concentrating on building up our youth again but the most outstanding teenager is Ouazane and Barca are interested. He was 16 back in January and I wonder why now its June we still cannot agree. I am not so hopeful.

I guess they never learn. I hope he signs with Ajax and moves up here. The big money and Barcelona will always be there if he is good enough. He should look at how Frenkie de Jong did this.

Leroy Frankel U17 RB who finished the season in U19 signs his 1st contract to 2028

Janse extends his contract by a year to 2029 plus a 1 year option. Probably will be Baas's understudy as Kaplan is likely to be sold back to Turkey.

Jan Faberski Jong winger extends to 2030. Has talent but probably not ready yet, had a contract to 2028 so Ajax must rate him highly.

Avery Appiah ,regular U19 RB can play MF extends his contract for 3 years to 2028. Played the last 3 Jong games and looks decent every time I saw U19.
