not a terrible idea, but i wonder if he plays at a high enough speed - we kinda need a buzzsaw type in that position

I'd like it, but I don't think it's gonna happen. But you never know.

I think we'd have to pay at least 6-8 MEUR for him though. So maybe he's not interesting after all. Only reason for him to come to us would be to be aired in the CL (as if.....) and to move on to bigger things (like other big stars from the french speaking countries...Soetars and Sonck).

Well....I'm sensing that I'm giving off a very pessimistic vibe tonight. Should stop posting.

many media link Ajax to the Nac Breda winger Julian Jenner..I would like to know from you: is he a right winger or he can play both sides? I ask cause in my opinion we have to renforce more in the left than in the right, where for the next season we already have de Mul and - I hope - Rosales..

Yup. The latest being prominent football journalist Johan Derksen. Tonight, in football talkshow Voetbal Insite, he did not only bring us the excellent news that Ajax will land Juanfran permanently; he also announced that Ajax are interested in Jenner.

As far as I know Jenner is very much a right winger. A Van 't Schip type.

His style of play and his movement reminds me of Robin Van persie. He would be a fantastic signing for Ajax. Huntelaar would profit immensley from the service Jenner would provide.

Ajax + Huntelaar + Jenner V's Inter = Ajax victory :D :xyxthumbs:

Excellent news about Juanfran i guess that means that the left back position is covered.And on the Jenner topic i think we all kind of had this feeling it was coming. Good to know hope we buy him ;)

Yeah but he's not going to choose for Ajax anymore, is he? We should have signed him when he was still at DjurgÃ¥rden. Now we can forget about it. He can go to bigger leagues now.

For me, Kim is one of the best swedish players at the moment, but in Sweden he's not rated particulary high and he's not regular in the national team (he should be in my opinion). I am not sure about Kim's status in France. (maybe u got info phillipe) What I know is that KÃ¤llstrÃ¶m havent played many matches this season due to a injury. The latest transfer rumour I heard was that Sevilla wanted to sign him, but in the end they didn't want to pay, i think 7-8 millionÂ£ that Rennes wanted for him.

By the way, swedish media today reported that Majstorovic probably will leave Twente, both Ajax and PSV was said to be interested, is this true?

We previously informed you that NAC Breda's Julian Jenner had talked to Feyenoord, but it seems like their rivals Ajax are now in 'pole position' in the race for the right winger. Jenner's agent has met with an Amsterdam delegation twice.

A club from outside of The Netherlands is also said to be interested in the right winger of NAC. The Delft native is said to have a preference for Ajax, according to sources, is hoping to make the move to the ArenA as soon as possible.

Do we really need a right winger right now ?
We don't have any left winger (we have Boukhari but he don't play anymore at this position) at the moment but we will probably sign another right winger... It's again a bit curious, as for Huntelaar.
These guys are (probably for Jenner) really good and I'm glad that Ajax is interested in them, but I've trouble to understand the priorities : 5 strikers, 2 right wingers, 0 left wingers... Does it make sense ? ;)

babel has all the required skills to play left wing for a while - if he'd get some humility, he could start there every week until mitea returns

I wouldn't mind if Ajax could get Majstorovic as long as they go for Zomer as well. This would give Ajax a ready made central defensive partnership for next season. We could then move Grygera to right back where he plays for Czech Rep.
