Van der Vaart scored the only goal that beat Leverkusen.
When he scored, he didnt celebrate.
When he was off he received (surprisingly) applause but he didnt applaud back.
Is he really going to Valencia? Is his attitude in hamburg the right one?

If this is the reason he did this, then cut that shit out. Stop being a child. Stop your sulking.
You are a professional, play like one. Show respect to the team that showed you some. If you move works out then good, if not don't look like a twat.

Yes... to stay fit while he looks for a club.
There doesn't appear to be any discussion of him signing for us.

all right, but, even at the age of 31, he would be a worthy sub, wouldn't he ?

Hmmm... What to say?
It's easy to predict how many fans will react: "Give him a contract! Okay, he's not as good as he once was, but he's not worse than Urzaiz, is he? Van Geel, you twat, why didn't you sign Kluivert instead of some 35 year-old Spanish grandpa?"
This is quite predictable, because Urzaiz looked like a pretty useless old man against Heerenveen.
A few thoughts.
1. Urzaiz can't be as bad as he looked against Heerenveen. Let's not write him off before really finding out what he's capable of.
2. Urzaiz was brought on when Ajax (the whole team) shifted to a lower gear and basically lost interest in the match. The game was petering out and Urzaiz simply didn't get much support. There wasn't much he could have done.
3. Urzaiz is totally and completely at peace with his position in the squad: he is the 'emergency back-up option',
not a starter, and he can live with that. Would Kluivert accept that position? I don't think so. In fact, it is one of the reasons why PSV let him go: he didn't become a starter, which is what he wanted, and he then started to moan. Kluivert can be a very negative factor and he's not very realistic: not too long ago he was saying that he "still belongs in
Oranje". And he was not joking.
Patrick Kluivert is:
1. very injury-prone (his ankle and knee are f*cked)
2. not very good anymore
3. a potential troublemaker
So ummm... no thanks. Let's give Urzaiz a break. I think we're better off with him than with Kluivert.
He's always welcome to train with Young Ajax, though. Fine by me.
K.

I get your point, but maybe he got wiser as he got older .. Anyway, would be fun to see him and Davids playing for Ajax again at some point, later this season, for a CL game for instance.

If someone hasnt heard - Kluivert joined Lille.
Its good for him that he signed not for a big team
but still for a contender for the championship in france.
And meanwhile our star in latest couple of years is the new star of madrid
Nice job Wes...

In case anyone wants to see Wes's goals:
Madrid 2-0 by Sneijder
Madrid 4-0 by Sneijder
and his much talked about assist:
Madrid 1-0 by Raul *assist by Wesley*

not sure, but if he's a free agent maybe yes.

Free agents have immediate transfers, no matter when. But I dont think he'll come back. By the way, has anyone heard anything about De Mul? Surely he's playing if Sevilla spent about 5m euros on him...?
