You can send all the e-mails you want and I can tell you it is a lost cause. Over the years I've sent them a dozen and you see where we are today. I cannot understand the fixation with ESPN unless it is some type of money deal.

FWIW, here is the response that I just received to my request for them to show the "championship game" on May 15:

I hope ESPN Deportes continues to show Ajax many times this season as that is where I watched them this weekend.

Glad to view Ajax live , but could've done without the slagging off of Jeroen Verhoeven or mispronunciations like Blind (long I sound) and Walczyk , as in RKC Walczyk.

Need to cut the guys a break as they are both from the Caribbean. Shaka Hislop went to school here in DC at Howard Univ and had a decent enough career as a keeper in England.

Wow - ESPN3 picked up our next game against VVV up as well. My money is finally being put to good use.

Whatever happened to commentators doing their homework ? Learning pronunciations of the names of the athletes participating in the match they are presenting sounds like broadcasting 101 to me. Nevermind that Walczyk and Waalwijk are spelled just a bit different.
