I wouldn't be surprised if the only victory we get is against Zilina.
Not saying that's what I want to happen, but I think the other teams in our group are that good (or we're that bad depending on how you look at it). Glad we're not going to Prague at least.

No european trip for me. My 401k is now a 396k , about 5,000 lost . 5,000 is the money I always fund travels with. Oh well, maybe the 09 part of 08-09 will present the opportunity.

Got my Villa ticket this morning. I'm in C1

Looking forward to this one, my first Ajax game for over a year and my first ever official away game (I don't count QPR) and the train from London was an absolute bargain at £16.50 return (2 special price singles)....

Yeah definately - I'll be in Birmingham from about 3pm (travel early and cheap!) so that would be good. This is SaddlerIan's area so if he's going he might know a good pub - otherwise we can check online.

Yep, directly with Villa through the website. Thet had £30.00 tickets on the Holte Stand left this morning.

Actually my memory is playing tricks on me. looking again Raymon and I are both in C section, the Trinity Road Stand - not terribly familiar with Villa's ground......

Sure you'll be welcome, though I suspect we'll arrange it through PM's so as not to invite any unwanted visitors who may be trawling the net (is there likely to be any against Villa???).

i would think so.. im only about 40-50 mins down the road by car... so i might end up driving but safer in most ways for train to be fair..

Will they let you in wearing an Ajax shirt? When I went to Sunderland friendly I was moved to the away stand straight away.

Well, if they do that, it's up to them! But when I registered, I did say that I was an Ajax supporter....I've even recorded the phone call!
I'm wearing mine...and I'm proud of it! (Just button you coat up as you go through the turnstile)

I'll be wearing mine too, probably underneath something else. If it's OK, then the Ajax shirt comes out, and if not I'll stay buttoned up. I don't think you'll have to worry about people looking through your clothes as it were to check you haven't any Ajax stuff on - just wear something on top.
btw unless you've got a REALLY good English accent then I think they might guess anyway
