Nice to get some margins on our side lads!

Nice to see that ROsenberg has now scored very consistently over the last rounds and seem to be taking the new competitive situation in the right way. We need peoplr that are mentally strong and thrive under competition.

BTW, all those links above to the goals....what's the deal on them? Theyre just images to me....am I stupid?

Just caught it.

Rosenberg really should have gotten another goal with that fine setup he had in the first half. We had several other good chances as well to bring home goals.

Must havef been great standing in the Ajax section....you guys really looked like you went ape when emanuelsson scored that goal.

Great stuff!

I can't believe it...a last minute win and I've got the Talpa stream working perfectly. Looks like it was a really great game - now that I know the result - I hope that Channel 5 will show the full game here on Thursday, Talpa had it as their "game of the week" so hope so.

Great "save" by Grygere by the way, we were lucky there

(and that's 400 posts from me!)

You mean that very obvious hand-ball...?

That was in Twente's penalty area, when we were attacking. He was booked for it.

Ah, that would explain a lot. They didn't actually show it during the highlights but were talking about it as they summed up in the Studio. If I spoke a bit more Dutch I'd have known that (it wasn't obvious otherwise - I only caught a bit of it and didn't know if it was first or second half for the camera angle etc).

Keep talking Brian and you won't look such a plank :hypocrite:

Talk about a close call :D i watched the Roda vs F-word game on Espn and heard by the anouncers that ajax had comed back twice to win 3-2. What they dident say was that the goals were scored in the last minutes of the game !!!!!.
Thank god we won we really needed this one.

PS: It seems like Rosenberg has gotten into a groove :headbang: :xyxthumbs:

PS: I hope Sneijder is Ok :eusa_pray:

Well, that's the bad news, indeed.

It looked quite bad. He wasn't fouled; he just miss-stepped and fell down, rubbing his leg. Those are usually the worst injuries. It had nothing to do with his recent hamstring injury: it was the other leg.

They will take him to hospital tomorrow for a scan. If the hamstring is only slightly over-stretched, he will need about a week's rest. If there is a little tear, he'll be out for up to six weeks (that would cost him at least one of the Inter games, plus Feyenoord away).

I have a bad feeling about it, to be honest.

Are you sure? He did already have a bandage around it.

That's what Blind said on the radio...

By the way: match report is up, people.

I think Channel 5 are showing lightbulbers this week.

Back to the game I see De Jong did not come on.Before Xmas it was stated that those who did not sign new contracts would not be played after the New Year break.

Any thoughts on this or are we expecting Nigel to go this week??

I made a comment last week that now Pienaar has signed for Dortmund I would not pick him again. I raised this point with a couple of mates plus my son and his mate and all agreed with me. The 2 lads, who were watching the Arsenal game at the time both agreed that if an Arsenal player were in the position of having signed for another club they would not want him in their team. My son's pal has a very high regard for Ajax I am pleased to say.

Any way back to the point a good win lets hope Wesley is not too badly injured.

Nigel seems to get his head up the arse. Seeing how only a club like West Ham officialy announce interest, then cancel out is a bully. Clubs like Juve etc. are just shit talk.

Time for new contract? Don't think so, his head is further up than we expected and perhaps Ajax would think twice as well.
