I heard he's busy attenting celebrity parties all the time now so I guess he's to fancy to be talking to us mortals..... ;)

Thanks for bringing me up to date on the writings of Mr. Menno Pot. I was well aware of his outstanding journalistic endeavours, but not his crossing over to novelist undertakings.

Is an English language version going to be available?

Well, I've booked my flights (late - expensive) so I'm definately coming. Had problems getting time off work though so I'm only over for the AZ game on Sunday, going home Monday afternoon :nooo: Anyway, should be a laugh, can't wait!

(Easyjet must be the biggest rip-off merchants going when it comes to re-arranging flight details though....new flight was cheaper, I remember yet they refunded nothing and still charged me £15.00 for changing my flight....)

No idea what it is or where I got it. I just like it. Seems to well-represent my relaxed, casual nature (plastic guy in acrylic clothing apparently startled by stick up ass). I like the way his hair shines. :-)

must admit, not looking forward to be travelling for around 30hours or so, but if we get a win out of any of the two games it will be worth it. As will catching up with you guys of course ;)

You have my admiration DanK and even a drink if pushed to it - you are spending this amount of time and money to come all the way from down under when we have members of this board who cannot find their way to the ArenA from the UK for even one game a season. Good for you and shame on them

It wasn't meant to be a cheapshot but I just find it amazing that there are people that will travel thousands of miles to attend a game in the ArenA and then there are those that can spend oodles of time moaning and groaning when things are going badly and live fairly close by and cannot even attend one game a season.

I count myself very lucky that I am in a position to be able to fuel my Ajax addiction, and I realise that not everybody is in the same boat - but hey if they are as dedicated as they seem then, I am amazed that they don't make one pilgrimage a year.

What has a class system to do with this - if you are saying that I am inferring only people that can afford to go to games at the ArenA can post on this forum then you are so far wide of the mark. I will repeat what I have said in that I am amazed that avid fans that live reasonably close to Holland do not make one trip a year to a game. As simple as that - no hidden agendas, no class systems, no cheapshots, no anything other than what I have said. If you want to read more into it then please be my guest to wind yourself up.

Oh my god how dreadful of me to do such a thing even if I did. The comment that it was a slack remark is factually incorrect as I chose my words with great care to get my point across. That you don't agree with the comments doesn't make them slack.
