Blind3, it was great meeting you Sonicdream and Jim after seeing you on the boards all these years. I'm totally up for a visit across the pond if you guys are going in the fall.

The whole altercation was so funny. DC fans were making fun of us for being so quiet. Then we start chanting - about 5/6 of us in the middle of 300/400 of them. We end up being louder than them (at least in our section) and then after 5 minutes a guy taps me on my shoulder and tells me that I have to leave. I'm like for what? He goes on to tell me that this is a DC United section and we can't cheer for the opposing team. I said fair enough - but this is a friendly against a team from a different continent. Quite clearly that didn't work as he then asked me for my tickets to that section.

I'm glad for the fact that Ajax saved face for us and didn't draw/lose. The day began as a completely overcast day and 2 hours before Ajax came out, the skies cleared up for a gorgeous 2nd half of the day.

I love it. They have a DC United section in their HOME stadium! Isn't the whole f*cking place "the DC United section"? Seriously. This whole business of not tolerating 6 Ajax fans adding some atmosphere, in such a meaningless game, is beyond hilarious.

It was truly great to see everyone again. I do not think that my father, "General" "Ass of Mokum" has stopped smiling yet. What a wonderful time that seemed to be made even more rememberable by "the douche" and their inability to out chant and sing us.

"The douche" kept saying that we were being too loud and "that damn flag" of mine was on his nerves! At one point, while I was talking to the uhser, he tried to grab it from me. A quick smack of his hand made him think twice. I would swear that the very professional stadium usher actually was amused by our situation and cracked a smile when I reprimanded the feeble minded fan.

It was all made even better when "Jimmy", some kind of D.C. United fan club president, came over and apologized for the actions of the few. He invited us to their post game celebrations out in lot 8. We humbly accepted and followed proper protocall in helping them to finish off their keg of Sam Adams Ale.

Prior to us leaving the stadium, we were able to secure a much desired autograph from de Boer himself.

We must not wait soo long in getting together again. Good times.... good times!

I owe "The General" a pint or three , or some quality Jenever, on the next go . He secured Frank de Boer's signature on my Kampioen Schaal . Ernie , THANKS A MILLION and bevies on me !!

I've never been. I've been long overdue for my first visit.

I was talking with Sonicdream tonight. He definitely sounds up for a visit to Amsterdam. I know I am. I'd prefer to go for a combination CL match and league match trip, but am totally flexible. Haven't been since 2006 . It's time.

Great time at RFK,parked in Lot 4,very happy to be around
fellow Ajax fans,gave out Ajax patches to DC supporters,
the beer,food were great,took my seat in section 231 and
enjoyed the match,drove home (Erie) afterwards,so happy
to have seen Ajax play,great time in DC.
