I thought so as well, but Pantelic seemed to take the goal.

after watching the replay it was definitely De Jong's goal

Like typical roaches, F-word scurried when FCT turned on the lights.

Heard a groan go up from the crowd -- knew it could only mean one thing -- sure enough it's now 2- 0 for Twente. Have to wait til next week and hope for help then.

Twente have Douglas suspended for the final match and our old friend Robbie Schilder picked up a red card for NAC today so he's out as well. Can't see NAC doing much against the Twente defense so I guess we should be hoping for a 0-0 draw.

another easy win could have scored 7or 8.Looks like we are going to have to hope NAC can help us.

One week to go , we're in with a shot at 30 , and our August fixture list just took on CL flavor. Not a bad day all in all.

I wish now PSV had beaten Twente last month !! Twente have had a great season and anyone who is not an Ajax fan would say they deserve to win the title.Will they do an AZ 2007 .Pressure is really on them now. They have to win . They were not under pressure today as Fword did not want to do us favours by even drawing .

All we can do is win at NEC to make it 14 wins a row . We now have played 17 since a defeat ie 15wins and 2 draws and only let in 4 goals in 17.
We are 2nd and that is great . The title will still be a great bonus after our poor first half of the season .

If only one of the 50 shots in the home match against Sparta last year had found its way into the back of the net.................................

Oh well, I will agree with my friend SPL that this has been a very good season compared to recent ones. Jol brought coherence to a team that lacked vision and has them on the brink of something special.

It's a strange feeling, having hope again.

Got to save my pennies for at least a CL Voorronde fixture. HUP AJAX !!

Lets do our part in this two headed drama by putting NEC and later, the two legged roaches, to the sword .

See what you mean about the Sparta game but to have won 16 and drawn 1 at home is afantastic record.
Overall we have made too many silly mistakes ie the stupid goal v Nac, Urby v Fword and way back we took on PSV with only 2 defenders ie Atouba and Wielaert played , their last league games thankfully .
