I see Wim Jonk managed the team today. I wonder if he will be the preferred choice when de Boer leaves.

I did actually say in a previous post, that Wim Jonk should succeed Frank de Boer. The only problem is, he doesn't get along with technical director, Marc Overmars. But yeah he would be good for our first team, most of the players are likely to stay, with the exception of Cilliessen and El Ghazi, but they can easily be replaced.

P.S What's going on with our promising young defender, Damian Van Bruggen? He is important, and the understudy of Joel Veltman, who I assume will stay next season.

V Bruggen has been injured I believe but plays for Jong Ajax tonight.

I see our A1 won 8-1 today v Volendam .Sierhuis scored 3.He has no contract still 17 but has now started scoring for the senior A1 youths.Described as a Huntelaar type of striker ie does little but just sticks the ball in the net regularly.

Just read Spurs were watching Sierhuis yesterday so hope we contract him quickly.Clearly knows how to score goals.

An odd game yesterday in the U19 domestic cup quarter finals.Our A1 team played our A2 team ,A1's won 3-1 .

In the CL U19 we beat Spartak Moscow 2-1 with Sierhuis scoring both .We now go through to the next round in February.

Hopefully by then Sierhuis will be contracted .

Just caught the highlights,they are on the official site . Most of what I saw was basically the Nouri show ,this little kid had real talent and class. I cannot believe he is not ready to come on as a sub in games like Cambuur last week where we were running away with it. He and v d Beek could easily have played the last 20 mins of that game given Bazoer and Sinkgraven were out injured.

Dutch U-15 team is playing in the Nike Invitational here in the US. Last evening they beat Brazil (defending champions of this competition) 3-0. Daishawn Redan of our youth scored all three goals.

just to point out it was U16 team .Redan ,who plays for our B2 is only 15 early next year and is a year younger than the others.

Nouri and Dolberg are picked to train with the first team in Turkey over the winter break!!

Good to see those 2 names in the squad.

Dolberg is over rated, and he is Danish, I hope there will be an exodus of Danish players at the end of the season.

Nice article, Ajax showtime is the best site for all Ajax news,especially youth news.Man U want Familia Castillo ,hes 16 in a couple of weeks time so hope we can keep him . de Lange, Zeefuik and Sierhuis all playing regularly at A1 level should be contracted asap and B1 youth teamers Kluivert and Castillo also.

I saw Castillo in the Nike tournament several weeks ago when he played for one of the Dutch youth teams (I think it was the U-16s). He was the best player on the pitch and had very good skills. Hope he signs a contract!!

Yes he is a great talent from what I have picked up from the Dutch guys on Ajaxshowtime site. We are now contracting 16 year olds again so hope Ajax are going to offer him one soon otherwise I fear he will take Man U 's money .

Juan Familia Castillo is joining Man u .He is 16 next week and not officially allowed to negotiate until he is 16 but clearly this lad has agreed to take the money a long time ago.I read a year ago they wanted him.I assume Ajax will have talked to him with the offer of a contract this summer.

We now offer contracts to 16 year olds again but Malen and Castillo just said no they just wanted the grubby money from the English.Probably never to be heard of again until they return to some mid table Dutch team when aged 21.

In the off chance that he makes it at ManU he would count against the "home grown" roster requirement that the EPL has recently implemented. Maybe this is another way that these television money run clubs can get around the roster requirement. I don't see this raid on Dutch youth ending anytime soon and of course it's not just limited to The Netherlands as EPL teams are poaching young players from all over the world.

Most important game today , Ajax A1 2 v Fword A1 0.Game was in Rotterdam to make it even better. CD Bergsma scored the first and Vince Gino Dekker ,highly rated left winger the 2nd. In our B1 team that won 4-3 over Volendam Familia Castillo played ,so clearly not yet gone to Man U. Justin Kluivert scored again ,son of Patrick , coming up 17 should get a contract this summer.

I like the idea of Justin Kluivert breaking into the first team next season. He is a very talented winger, two footed as well!

I see today in our B1 ie U17 striker Daishawn Redan made his debut aged 14!! He is 15 next month but must be some talent.Familia Castillo is still playing so has not yet agreed to take the grubby dodgy Russian money at Chelski.

Article yesterday with Fosu-Mensah now at man U .He says had Ajax offered him a contract at 16 he probably would have stayed.He also said no one at the club really told made contact with him about where he was going with Ajax.

Hopefully Ajax will have offered F-Castillo a contract and also Kluivert and Sierhuis.After all Overmars is doing nothing else ,no one going and he isn't signing anyone.And he had a few days holiday in Cape town pretending to look at Ajax CapeTown club.

Our U19 ie A1 play tomorrow their CL U19 game v Sevilla CET 16.00 at de Toekomst. There may be streams. In Holland its on Ziggo tv for subscribers but Spain China and Poland !!!! all showing it on their tv.

Nouri Cerny and v d Beek all in the squad but not Frenkie de Jong ,who could play. I can understand Nouri and Cerny in the squad but Donny is now a first teamer and really should not be involved with youth but its a big match for Ajax .
