MVV game tomorrow night 20.00CET. Whatever the result we will still be 2nd , currently 7points off VVV at the top.

Wouldn't it be something if we won the league and got promoted -- just dreaming, I know we can't be promoted.

Would be great to win the league though.

Only players above going to Legia are Alblas as3rd goalie, Cassierra, Nouri and v d Beek. The last 2 are expected to play a half each. Thought Sierhuis would be a sub and come on for Cassierra but I see he played a friendly today for our U19 v Jong Almere.

ps With CL on tonight I guess I might be the only person watching our Jong side. I wouldn't consider watching anyone else. Eiting with de Jong and Nouri ,no contest . Love watching these kids .

I would like to watch the Jong match but the Internet feeds are dicey for these matches and Dortmund and Barcelona are among teams other than Ajax that I enjoy watching.

Clear picture on cricfree.1-0 up at Ht Mazaroui on 43 a stunning shot from way out the area. The build up was something else by de Jong .He started just outside his penalty area ran through the field passed to the right took the return ran through passed to the left wing ball to Mazraoui a goal.Thats the sort of football I imagine Cruijff and co would play all those years ago.

Finished 1-1 They scored a superb free kick on 66. A very disappointing 2nd half compared to the first. Nouri was replaced at Ht by v d Beek ,maybe thats why our midfield wasn't so good! We never really looked like losing as we have de Ligt in the defence. The kid is way too good for this level so is de Jong.Savastano got 40 mins came on for Zeefuik and played LB.Bergsma had a decent game alongside de Ligt

Up front Mazraoui the best,although having to play left wing when he is a right footed midfielder.A cracking goal from him. Cerny had a poor game and is not back to his best. Cassierra, well I dont think he is Jong Ajax standard and surely Sierhuis would be better in this team. If Cassierra is worth 5m then de Ligt and de Jong are worth 20m.

MVV are 4th so this was a good point considering we played mainly with a team of teenagers.We are still 2nd behind VVV, Volendam 3rd.

I wouldn't mind if they don't win the league. The heavy loss at Fortuna Sittard was a good wake up call. The games are not every week very impressive. Would be a wrong signal if they would manage to already become the Jupiler League winners while the level of playing could, should and will become a couple levels better.

Marcel Keizer is doing a good job, though.

It wouldn't be a great advert for the Jupiler league if our Jong won the title but VVV are 6 points clear so we are not going to catch them .If we progress in the Europa Cup the likes of v d Beek, Nouri and de Ligt wont be used and of course if our U19 continue in U19 CL then Eiting, Zeefuik wont play for Jong.Take out these 5 and the team would be a lot weaker and will drop points.

Main thing the team is bringing through players for the first team squad and in doing so they play lovely football.Some comments on Ajax showtime are a bit harsh and I do think some fans forget our team is mainly kids and they play mature adults with lots of football experience every game . They are bound to be inconsistent and struggle at times ie like the 2nd half v Sittard .

Achilles on Friday and they are way down at the bottom with few points so we should get an easy win.

Funny fact is that Marcel Keizer thinks he used to be my former trainer. I can't remember all plus 14 billion memories from my child hood but I'm pretty sure I never played under his wings.

But last Tuesday on De Toekomst, again, he came to me greeting me very enthusiastic. "Heeeeeey old boy! That is quite a while ago! Are you here to watch us again? Good to see you that you will always return!"

Next time you see him tell him there is an Englishman and an American who watch Jong Ajax and love the football they play.

Maybe you think on this forum you are unique.
When I visit a random young Ajax game I ran into over 40 Englishman who tell me they travel to Amsterdam every Friday to see youth football on a level they haven't seen at Blackburn Rovers 1th team in over 20 years.

Don't know what else they are doing in Amsterdam the rest of their and Friday and Saturday but private matters are not my business.

Last Friday, 7 days ago when I was crossing the UK I found a copy of The Sun on the airport and got a free London Evening Standard at the tube. Didn't read anything in it that seemed odd.

So no Cassierra Nouri v de Beek. 8 of tonights starters started v MVV .Zeefuik went off the other night so may be injured.

Good to see Sierhuis playing hope he gets on the scoresheet

Started 30 mins late ,just finished we won 3-2 .Walian the1st and then 2 goals by Sierhuis.

Will post a few more details in a few minutes

Made hard work of the win .Apart from his simple goal Walian did little and Cerny was very poor .Sierhuis a goal poacher got 2 nice goals.Surely time for him to play Jong every week. Defence luckily has de Ligt good as usual, but Alblas is a very moderate goalie. de Jong again looks the part must get first team playing time this season.

Subs wise Cerny was replaced by Sanniez on 72 and for the last 2 or 3 mins of injury de Wit and Doekhi replaced Mazraoui and Bergsma. Doekhi his debut but I believe he played for Sparta once or twice in Jupiler last season. V Bladeren unused goalie and Leyder and Bay also unused. No attackers on the subs bench.

We are still 2nd .

Home to FC Eindhoven tonight 20.00 CET ,cricfree has streams. Will be interesting to see who plays of the midfielders.

All will be in Sunday's squad but need playing time.

Nice to see all 11 starters are Dutch ,only Bay isn't Dutch. He and de Jong are the only 2 who are not local homegrown,the rest all came through our youth.Alblas at 22 only one over 20 , 3 or 4 now 20, rest are teenagers.

Jong Ajax are level 1-1 with FC Eindhoven. Kaj Sierhuis is at it again, he scored like a typical poacher. I hope Bosz gives him the break he needs for the first team. If he does, then everyone would say, 'Who needs Huntelaar?'

Unfortunately, all the streams over here in the US are clogged with pop-ups and won't work.

Finished 1-1 A nice goal by Sierhuis in the first half but they scored early in the 2nd and that was it. Zeefuik went off injured after about 20 mins Sanniez replaced him.Nouri came on for de Jong at HT but went off with an injured foot after about 30 mins of action ,Walian replaced him.

Not much to say about the game I too got pop ups and was busy with my anti malware(nothing nasty found) Cricfree does seem to have more popups etc even though I have adblock!

Away to Oss tonight 20.00CET cricfree shows a stream but last week I got pop up adds even though I have Adblock working so may not watch it
