Ajax A-1 vs Feyenoord A-1 this afternoon in Amsterdam. It's being streamed on Ajax TV but I don't know if we get this in the USA. Should be an interesting match up between the two best youth academies in the country.

EDIT: yes, I can log in but we are already down 0-1.

1-1 at the half with a very nice shot by Nouri to level the game. Huge difference in tactics at this level vs the first team. Lots of short passes in tight spaces and the midfielders seem to know where the open spaces are. It's puzzling to me how this is all lost on FdB (and the NT leader Blind as well!). This is how Dutch football should be played.

Poor start, but after a little tactical change (Eiting playing before the defense) they are absolutely demolishing Feyenoord. 5-1 with 20 minutes to go.

I lost the stream after the half. Glad to see that they are putting it to Feyenoord.

Wonderful result what ever the level beating Fword is still magic. Have to say I wasn't sure we could get Ajaxtv outside Holland ,and did not bother to try the other week v Schalke but will log in for the future.I had to go out today and missed some good football by the sounds of it.


How was Nouri and v d Beek and will either be ready to at least be a first team sub before the seasons end?

Some game at de Toekomst today where our A2 ,ie U19 2nd team, drew 4-4 with Almere A1

After 11 mins they got a man sent off we missed a pen. HT we were 3-0 down ! We got one back after 65 then 4 goals in the last 5 mins . 89 mins back to 3-2, 90+1 3-3, 90+3 3-4 they scored, 90+4 we made it 4-4.A lad called Sierhuis,who scored v Fword yesterday for A1 ,scored 3 goals. Some finish .

Yesss these are the days you'll have to watch our Youth football.
So SPL make sure you come over fast for Ajax A1 - Schalke 04 A1 next Wednesday or for another good moment to combinate great Ajax (youth) football with our first team.

Youth players Van de Beek, Nouri and Cerny have all extended their contracts until june 2020

Good news indeed.

Ajax A1 through to the next round in the UEFA Youth League after a 2-0 win against Schalke 04. They should have scored many goals more, but with the 2-3 away victory it's an ok result.

Next opponent will be Spartak Moscow in about 14 days.

A very good result 2 goals by the new young Dane Dolberg. Could be in our first team squad next season!!

Cerny is injured at present and thus missed the game.

Yes were good goals by Dolberg.

His goals and the other highlights will be on Ajax.nl soon as they did broadcast the whole game live.

Ajax U19 1-0 up at half time against Spartak Moscow (in Moscow). Should have been 3 or 4 up, they are all over the opposition.

I watched the 2nd half and a comfortable 3-0 win by our kids.After the 1st half pen a nice free kick by Dolberg and a well taken 3rd by Walian.

A very impressive performance,de Ligt v D Beek and Nouri in particular impressed me.Watching v d Beek it is easy to see why Man U scouts sent a good report in but I do love watching Nouri ,the kid has great skills and a football brain.

I will try and watch all the return game.

Thanks again Benji for posting highlights. I will take a guess and say players who I think can make the 1st team ,Dolberg,v d Beek, Nouri,Eiting and de Ligt. Plenty of talent at this level,Cerny is injured and Dekker the other winger I believe was injured. If only Malen and Fosu-Mensah had stayed.

I see Wim Jonk managed the team today. I wonder if he will be the preferred choice when de Boer leaves.
