Finished 6-3. After going 5-0 up on 63mins they hit back with 3 goals between 65 and 71. Poorish defending and a poor tackle by Zeefuik for the pen. Dankerlui made it 6-3 on 84 .

Entertaining game i presume

We went off the boil after they scored their 1st goal 65mins.Nouri was then replaced by Bay. Nouri was played on the left wing but always was coming inside and passing and creating. Not surprising we went off the boil without him.

On 74 Eiting and the hopeless Zeefuik were replaced by Savastano and Sanniez. Sanniez is always the fall guy but steadied things with Riedewald .Zeefuik is a decent attacking fullback but never great at defending.Tonight he played Cd and was poor ,he cannot defend.The penalty just poor sloppy defending by him.

Upfront Cassierra took his goal well but had 3 other good chances but never looked like scoring them. I dont think he is good enough to be in our first team as standby striker.

A great game to watch and hopefully on Sunday we should just start with Nouri and Kluivert. Nouri is not a left winger but will be far more effective than Younes.Well that cannot be hard.

Home to RKC Waalwijk tonight 20.00CET cricfree shows no game at present. Must be RKC because in the 1st half of the season only RKC did not get shown.

de LIgt is injured but Nouri and de Jong play .Eiting will also play and Sierhuis is in the squad.

A 4-1 win in the end. RKC came back to 1-1 soon after HT and then Eiting on 59 to make it 2-1. Sanniez and Sierhuis replaced Nouri and de Jong on the hour,(assume they cannot play longer if they are to be subs on Sunday).A couple of mins later Cerny got a bad tackle and was carried off with an ankle injury .Dani de Wit from our A1 came on for his debut. Eiting on 86 and Mazraoui on 90 made it look a comfortable score.

No streams but another game on Monday so hope streams available then.I do enjoy watching Jong and they are still 2nd in the league.

No news on Cerny.Hope he is soon fit. Looking at the highlights on Showtime he was playing on the right wing ,I dont like inverted wingers. Mazraoui right footed, plays in all positions, was on the left wing and scored a nice goal with a lovely long shot from his left foot.

This is how the Dutch NT has played for some time now with Arjen Robben on the right wing (when healthy).

I was going to say Robben seems to have started the craze for inverted wingers but he is rather good and effective . Most new ideas in modern football seem to have come from Holland. I like old fashioned wingers.

Away to Fortuna Sittard tonight 20.00CET Our u19's play Juventus in the CL U19 tomorrow so Eiting and Sierhuis wont be involved tonight.

Cassierra Westermann maybe Riedewald and Tete will be involved.

With the last game having no streams anywhere I note cricfree shows no streams again . Game is not on Tv but that has not stopped streams for most games until now.

v Fortuna Sittard about to start.No streams available again ,the Dutch guys on Ajaxshowtime are fed up as thats 2 games in a row no one can see the game.

Glad no stream Lost 5-2 Cerny on 2 mins and Cassierra 40 mins put us 2 up at Ht . They got one back on 51 and it all kicked off once Riedewald was replaced by Sanniez on the 70 mins mark .From 75 to 85 they scored 4 more goals as Jong caved in. (Walian for Mazraoui and Bay for de Jong were subs for last 10mins.)

Not sure whether 2 games in 3 days caught up with some of the youngsters but they missed having de Ligt although Tete and Riedewald are full Ints ! ( Riedewald came off with only 1 goal against so cannot blame him . )

No game until next Monday but thats home to MVV one of the top teams.

Just watched the highlights .Our defence was non existent on those goals.They really were dreadful.

I wonder about Sanniez. He was very highly rated about a year ago and now seems to be floundering.

Too bad I'm not able to attend it. Have enjoyed myself a lot the former Jong Ajax games at De Toekomst plus last Tuesday the Under 19 against Juventus [ despite freezing temperatures. SPL now knows what I'm talking about. The weather can be cold in Amsterdam. ]
