Let see what Brentford does in the replay against Chelsea. Besides MK Dons also Oldham has entered the next round of the FA cup as 3rd division club. It can travel 1 division up as Barnsley is 2nd division/Championship. Quickest way back to the PL is the replay of Brentford -Chelsea or the cupmatch Oldham - Everton. MK DOns play Oldham one week before the FA cup. But they might loose it earlier.

Yup. But the Brentford - Chelsea replay is at the same weekend (16/17 Feb) as the other cup matches, which are already one round ahead.

The Helmond Cup arrived in the English Premier League on 7 October 2012. Since that it changed clubs eleven times. Which is amazing.

You're right: weird things can happen. Remember when it was drifting around in the Segunda B, the third level in Spain...? There seemed to be no way out. But all of a sudden: cup game against Athletic Bilbao - and in no-time it was back in UEFA competition and in another country (I think it went from Bilbao to Paris St. Germain...? No time to look that up right now). That was spectacular.
