Hey SPL will you visit the Wolverhampton Wanderers game on Thursday?

I suppose some Ajaxtalk members will visit both this game and the other friendly against Walsall FC or at least one of them?

No I am not bothering ,too much hastle as trains not working down here on the south coast and I dont want to drive that far ,roads too busy.

I am planning a trip to Amsterdam in Sept. Have contacted Thijs for a ticket re Groningen on 15 Sept .Will let him know
soon which seat I want and I will then book our holiday.

Does anyone have a list of players at the trainings camp. I checked everywhere.

Ajax.nl official site lists the players. Under the heading Schone joins training . v Bladeren ,Sierhuis Botman Bakboord and de Wit all joined today from Jong Ajax.

Ajaxshowtime the best site for Ajax news lists them as well.

What happened to Matusiwa? Injured?

Matusiwa has not played for 2 weeks or more ,assume he is injured

September is always a good time to visit Amsterdam.

Besides the Groningen game it would be very nice if you'dd be able to visit one of our European games, these always have a cracking atmosphere.

I'm really concerned that ten Hag will insist on playing Schoene in midfield and Wober in defence. After the friendlies.

Schoene? In Dutch that means something like 'shoes'.

Game against The Wolves will be played this afternoon and will be broadcasted live on tv.

Had hoped we would play Wolves this evening as I am out this afternoon.

Ajax Showtime reports that F de Jong will be starting the match as a central defender on the left side. Has ten Hag lost his mind? Maybe the formation will be the hybrid 3-4 in the back line that was used just before de Jong hurt his foot. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Lang plays on the right flank. Eiting is a defensive midfielder, Mazraoui can't play in midfield ahead of Frenkie de Jong. And what the hell is Nissen Kristensen doing at right back?

What the hell is Kristensen even doing in professional football, I often wonder.

Hmm seems indeed a pretty shitty line-up. Hope Ten Hag comes with something better against Sturm Graz.

I hope he will continue having some of those on non crucial moments. I don't want a very rich club stealing Andre Onana away from us in August!

Eiting is a tough tackling midfielder. I liked the way he intercepted a build up play by Wolves. Mazraoui seems to have picked up a knock. Dani de Wit holding his hamstring as well

I'm hoping that Eiting gets some serious playing time this year. I really like him and I've never heard a complaint about not getting enough minutes in the first team.

However if he doesn't get it this year, he might want to move on.

Didn't miss much from your posts ,will watch Walsall game tonight. Lang played because Labyad is suspended for Sturm Graz next week. Ziyech and Schone both carrying minor injuries and so is Wober. Today was as strong as we can put out at present.

Kristensen and Orejuela both seem like poor buys.I too hope Eiting gets more playing time.

Yes the Ajax YouTube channel does indeed broadcast it live.

Yes the nickname of Walsall is 'The Saddlers'. That's why we have a forum member with the name SaddlerIan over here at Ajaxtalk.

2-0 defeat not a great game for Ajax.Gravenberch at 16 looks a fine prospect.No creativity in the midfield ,still no idea what Siem de Jong is doing back at our club.
