it's always a pleasure to discuss with open minded people, eager to teach ignorants,
by the way :

Ajax fans would not be sorry to see the back of Henk ten Cate should he quit the Amsterdammers and join the coaching staff at Chelsea.

Ten Cate has said he would be willing to move to Stamford Bridge to work under Avram Grant if the two clubs can come to an agreement.

He would certainly not have many Ajax fans begging him to stay despite the club getting off to a fine start in the Eredivisie.

Ten Cate's men lie second in the Dutch league but it is in European competition where they have struggled, crashing out of two competitions.

They lost to Slavia Prague in Champions League qualifying before going down to Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Cup first round.

Fan frustration boiled over during Sunday's 2-2 draw at Sparta Rotterdam when fans aimed abuse at Ten Cate, club chairman John Jaakke and defender Jurgen Colin.

Regular chants of 'Henkie, get lost and take Jaakke and Colin with you' rang around the away end as Ajax struggled to gain a point.

Ajax are unhappy with Henk ten Cate over his imminent move to Chelsea

Ten Cate is in talks with Chelsea about joining the club's coaching staff after The Blues agreed a compensation deal with Ajax on Monday.

The former Barcelona assistant manager is expected to seal his move to Stamford Bridge in the next few days where he is expected to work alongside Avram Grant.

Ajax's technical director Martin van Geel says the club are not happy at how the move for ten Cate has come about

"Henk spoke with Chelsea a week last Thursday. The following Tuesday Henk approached the board and said he wanted to go to Chelsea," Van Geel told The Sun.

"Henk presented it to us as a fact and we didn't have any choice.

"We didn't want to work with a coach who had his mind at Chelsea.

"Things should have been done differently. I don't want to say more."
So Van Geel wanted him to stay? :00000633:

wanted him to behave in another way, I assume.
anyway: it's evident that both sides, club and ten cate, don't have to mourn too much for this ending and have much more to gain from it. professionally and economically (HTC), in trying to change things that don't work anymore (the club)

A 'profiteur' is someone who seeks to gain an advantage for himself in any possible way at the cost of others.
I don't know a direct translation.

Well, that was a lot of trouble when a change of one letter was enough :ajaxsmiley.gif:
