Ebicilio on for Boerrigter. Sulejmani did a little Luis Suarez movement on that goal, very nice. Plus add an assist to the MZANZI HERO!!!

I really think we are looking strong this season, going forward there is such a range of options, just need to keep that defense a bit tighter, Jan the man coming back should help as well as Boileson. Obviously there will be much tougher challenges along the way but Heerenveen are a good side, and we've torn them to shreds today.

Clear domination in the second half. Defense was hardly tested at all and Blind really made a great pass to get the third goal started. Nice for Greg to get the goal after the double bounce off the crossbar on his earlier header. I thought everyone played pretty darn good.

Enjoyed the attacking play. Hopefully we will defend better when Vertonghen gets back, but if we can't hang on to him we will certainly need another centre-half.

Agree with all the praise for VdWiel -- he looked like he did two seasons ago.

The only Twitter sites I've found are dutch language . I just have a dictionary and my list of dutch football terms handy to help me. I'm simply ecstatic for all the choices of media available. Sure beats 74 , when I first became Ajax fan, and followed Ajax via month old world footy mag.

Just wanted to comment on Thulani Serero . I absolutely loved how , even up 3 and in the 92nd minute, he refused to give up, kept driving to net, and helped create the goal for Gregory van der Wiel.

Is there a chance Van der Heijden will get back in the squad? We are really short at the back. Also Ajax wont beable to cope like this in Europe. You can get away with it in the league. Concede one goal and score like 5. Its not like that in europe, far from it.

Van der heijden is on his way out. He has admitted he found a new club but no name disclosed. De Boer doesn't even have him ins his plans which is really strange as I think completed his assignment when he went on loan to Willem II. he played well there and should have had at least a chance to cover for Vertonghen. If I was part of the scouting team for Ajax, I would go for a south american central back. They come cheaper, myabe a guy like Aquivaldo Mosquera, colombian central back who plays for America in mexico. Or maybe Vizcarrondo from venezuela. I don't know just naming some options.

At last!! Finally, ENJOYING it... We did win last year, but not exactly enjoying it.

oh well, I wasn't talking about the win, about the trophies, I was talking about enjoying Ajax.

I have been around for a long time you know... there wasn't such a mood as this one I'm feeling now, for years and years ago....

Just compare the same period last year with this one. We weren't sure if Jol would stay, El Ham was playing it tough, JC was showing his teeth, etc etc... now, its completely different IMO...

Winning a title helps, although I think it wouldn't have been as sweet to win a title with Jol as it did with DeBoer having us play in a more traditional Ajax style.

I think we are playing proper Ajax football where no one player really shines out above the rest. Its now a team in the truest sence. HUP AJAX!

Sounds as if I missed a good game yesterday. Pleased that Sigthorrson scored .Hope that Vertoghen is soon fit and importantly staying. How was Blind in this game?
