To me, Boerrigter is the man of the match for now. I felt our midfield three had a very unimpressive game. Eriksen was nowhere to be found and when he did get the ball had to always make a back pass because of the pressure. Is it my impression or does Janssen just stand there? And siem, rather than the penalty, I felt he was a non-presence. Liked what I saw form Sigthorsson. Let's win this!!!

Forwards = Awesome

Defense = Terrible

Goalkeeping = Shaky

That's the game in a nutshell.

Wont be surprised to see Enoh or Anita for De Jong at the start of the second half, you could tell Siem was still in pain after that brutal fall.

Had we scored on the penalty the match would had been in the bag, we still need another goal. With this defense, especially our left side (Boilesen-Blind) you never know...

we need some extra control in the middle, we have essentially 3 attack minded players and are lacking the balance, but it's the first game so lets give Frank's experiment some time.

I think de Boer is playing Janssen in that DM role because we are missing Vertonghen's distribution. Don't know what he's going to do once Jan comes back.

So far so good but the penalty would have wrapped it up. Attack looks good but not impressed with the rest . We need Anita as a holding midfielder .Blind is not aCB and I too would have played JAN ARIE.
