Best ajax player so far, Sulejmani. De Jong was a spectator. Boilesen has commited a lot fouls and hasn't been that strong on defence.

Unconvincing play on Ajax part in the first half. Poor positioning by Vermeer conceded the goal and he was lucky on a second occasion where he was out of position. Did make a couple of good reflex saves to keep the ball out. Inconsistent play by van der Wiel again; he got beat badly a couple of times on defense and is taking too long on the ball when pushing forward. Both central defenders are playing well but need to be very careful when going forward not to give up the ball too easily (which both did) since this leads to a quick counter. Boilesen is OK but I worry about him getting beaten by Narsingh who is just too fast for him. de Zeeuw should stop making stupid no look passes; he is NOT Xavi Hernandez. Eriksen and Anita are doing OK. Sulejmani is playing quite well and kept his wits on the goal scoring chance. de Jong is proving that he only should be considered as a striker and he's holding the ball up well (still he is a half step too slow unfortunately) and not trying to play outside his abilities. Ebecilio had some good and bad moments.

The Heerenbeen keeper is not showing he is of quality. Rather than taking these 20-30 meter shots, the club should put pressure on him and see if he can keep the ball out of the net. This match is still on a knife's edge and we better see to the mental side of things!.

we are not playing great but haven't recently but got away with it . Lets hope we get away with it today . Agree about Greg , 10m ?????? the guy is poor.

Obviously, I was just writing a post to complain about how we were playing too narrow and we couldn't get through Heerenveen's two defensive midfielders. So we score a goal down the middle...

wow 2-1. I missed most of the first half as busy outside and Bet 365 went down and now missed the second one as I heard the second half start and was just wandering back to the screen to watch it when I heard the goal.
