I was nervous until that superb 2nd goal , a well deserved win and the only down side after 92 mins of superb defending the whole lot went to sleep , Anita's only real mistake. For a right footed defensive midfielder he does play well at LB .

Nice win. I Like to see Dinamo losing, although i did expect more from them. Impressed with Anita and Urby, Mickey also played well.

Let's repeat this on weekend

Great game, shame about Dinamo scoring but a really good performance overall.

I agre that Suarez was obvious for MoM but whoever picked it presumably wanted to be "controversial" not to say Anita had a bad game or anything overall.

The 4th/5th referee's really showed their worth didn't they . Only contribution I saw was not giving a corner (which wasn't given) and not seeing the ball had gone out (which was flagged by the linesman) right in front of him/them.

I think Basil Fawlty is overstating the one-eyed referee's performance a little bit. The least said the better about mistaking Urby and Vernon Anita for the yellow card - the commentator said he was short-listed for the World Cup so he'll have to sort that out sharpish if he's going to South Africa.

Happy with the performance overall and great to see Gabri back in action (I missed Saturday's game...)

This was a wonderful performance. Very well done, against a decent opponent.

Not sure about that the DSB debacle and it's consequences have to really hit home at the club.
Koeman has major faults (man management being a key one), as we all know.
I'm not undersestimating AZ here (they remain a good collection of players), I just think the club's going to be doing a lot of navel gazing between now and the match.

11 Ajax and 23 Dinamo Zagreb fans arrested for violent behaviour.

Out of those 34, 16 are still in custody because they will be charged with more serious forms of violent behaviour.

One really nice stat to report SIX that was the numbers of players starting the game from our Academy .
I know Suarez is our star but it is still good to see so many from our youth .

Both Anita and Alderwiereld played very well, imo. Well, until that last goal at least. Urby wasn't bad either.
