I only saw Kennedy in the Arsenal game, and he did not seem to be the speedy kind who can beat his man ... What about Mitea on the left side ?

Kennedy is a sort of a Perez-type of player. Uses his "feeling" to cross a ball, not his speed.

Mitea is a neverending injury story, like Manucharyan. We simply can't rely on those two.

which does not make him the ideal player for 4-3-3 ...

We need a good winger/foward and need him now.

I still think we should swoop for Gudjonsson and Motta. Even Defour would be a nice choice now.

Its no point considering Manu and Mitea, good players but they wont last half the campaign.

I know it was only a rumour, but a few days ago some websites spoke about an interest in this russian guy, andrey arshavin from zenith st.pietroburg. he is a striker that can start from left (but not left footed, although I've seen he has both feet for football) that plays also "nummer 10".
in only one move you could resolve 2 question marks: the problem of replacing babel and also - the later possible- the departure of wesley...
Unfortunately it is probably only gossip (ten millions euro his price), but the guy is really impressive, at least watchin' here....

looks good ...but ten million is a lot of cash...i dont think we eill get him for that price....no way.....thats what Groningen is demanding for Suarez.

I must say...by what i have seen....this guy has it all....speed,power, can shoot with both feet,skill, can play with back towards goal.....man.....i am very impressed....and he can only get better, given his age and his new team itching too see him play

Congratulations, but is he so much needed after we signed Romedahl and Kennedy - Now we have four excellent strikers(not necessarily center forwards) - Kennedy, Romedahl, Huntelaar and Suarez, all of them definetely expected to have key roles in the squad. But our 4-3-3 formation has space for only 3...
So either Kennedy and/or Romedahl will rather play attacking middlefielder or that kind of roles or one of them wont see regular first team football and will become unsettled.

Kennedy and Romedahl are right wingers, Suarez will play on left wing and also he can play in pair with KJH as forward. we needed left winger so much.. i really wanted to see him in our squad, and here you go! great signing
