Well I've seen them in the ships and they're not that bad in real life (apart from being a ManU shirt that is). I seem to remeber PSV had something similar in their away shirt (in blue I think) at one time.

The Ajax website has the new home shirt on some sort of pre-sale in the online shop so I suspect all will be revealed shortly. I've seen (but not bought) the new away shirt, unlike previous years we now have embroidered stars above the badge.

It will be revealed in exactly 1 week (june 27th).

I hope they lose the Adidas stripes on the sleeves, it really looked trashy.

i.e. the Shiny red and shiny Blue one.

Did any of you find that they ran a size larger than normal?

I mean I usually wear M for all my Ajax jerseys but I have a M home shirt and it's HUGE on me.
I've even laid it on top sleeve to sleeve with the rest of my Ajax jerseys and it is longer and wider!

They were made in Vietnam.

p.s. Anyone with any news about next season's design? Besides it being white with a red bar down the center? We've had some really great away kits for a couple of years now. I hope the trend continues!

I have one of those shiny red ones, and it is an M. I'm a really small guy, and it fits almost ok. I usually have to wear S, but this M one fits well so in my case it's the opposite, they ran smaller sizes than normal.

Now I'm spooked. Why do I have such a large MEDIUM jersey?
It's spookily long and larger than all my mediums.

what colour shorts? As for the shirt ghastly . Our home strip does not clash with any other, being unique and iconic, and should be worn in away games. I have always been against away strips and in the old days you changed shorts and socks if there was a clash.

The most stupid thing is that in youth games where there is a so called clash of colours the home side has to change ,thus our youths tend to play a lot of home games in the current away strip. Ajax kids at de Toekomst not being able to wear our great unique iconic shirt ,thats criminal in my eyes.

I have to say, I like it.

I agree with SPL that it would be nice if we could always wear our main strip, but since we can't, I like this one. Remember our away European kits from a few years ago? The ones with the skid marks? Those were nasty.

Looks a bit like a training shirt with that dark-grey/light-black color. Doesn't shine as much a normal shirt.

Agree on all counts. It may not be the most colorful, but I think it's pretty elegant. And, as others have pointed out, we've seen (and worn) a lot worse!

Hope the shorts are black, not red or (esp.) white - in most cases, I think shorts should match, not contrast with, jerseys.

But then I'm known as quite the fashion plate.

i will 100% buy it no matter what it is... because im an idiot basically... ive bought everyshirt home and away and 3rd for about the past 15 years. so, yes, stupidity.. i dont like the pink one so much. Im really hoping it is the other as i love that one
