Yup, his trial period is extended by 10 days.

If they see action for Young Ajax they can not play for Ajax-1 in the same round of the competition. That's a KNVB rule.

In fact, maybe they can't even play for Ajax-1 because they're in the Young Ajax squad for the same round of the competition.

What I should have said is that Vermeer Oleguer and Pantelic were all subs on Sunday and if they need a run out ,which clearly would be good for them then surely they should be playing AGOVV for the first team.

I do realise that Lindgren and Ogararu are not in the first team squad and in effect reserves I just think in the Cup where our Jong have qualified then they should be playing all U 23 for instance and not just a load of spare older first teamers.

I will try very hard between now and January to not keep on moaning about the Jong team full of first team spares as I do realise that with 32 first teamers we have 8 too many .

AZ 0 Jong Ajax 0 after 90 mins - held their own well enough and unlucky towards to end of game not to get penalty for hands

1 0 AZ in 1st min of extra time, ach well makes the fuckers have to play an unwanted 30 mins of extra time anyway

Agree, with what you say - def held their own for regulation 90 mins. Good to see Koeman continuing his excellent work as a coach

As it was on sopcast I watched the vast majority of the game. All told and our defence held out well
and they had a strong team out.
Nobody really excited me although from what I could see Bonevacia , who was playing for the A1 youths on Sat, looked as if he has a future. Danilo did not get mentioned much and Will the left back struggled a bit but I should point out he is a right back and only playing at left due to injuries.

In my posting yesterday I said Castillion and Bizot were the only proper Jong players not in the squad
well the reason why is that they both played yesterday for our A1 youths v Fword A1 and gloom Ajax lost 1-0.

I've seen that match. the guys had a good match, but is depressing that both az goals, for me, where caused by poor defending of oleguer.

Yeah that's true, which is kind of sad, as I thought he had a pretty good game, otherwise. He moved forward quite a lot, which I've never seen him do in the first team.

Ogararu was quite good, too.

My favourite proper Young Ajax player was Will. I like him. Bit of a pitbull.

Attendance is about 23,000 which will probably be more than Europa League game on Thursday evening

Sarpong took the goal well . Nice to see a whole Jong game ,well 9 of the team are Young

Jong Ajax 1 Jong PSV 3, PSV scored 3 in last 10 mins. Surprise, surprise first two goals preventable - 1st an og which defender should not have went for and second, goalkeeper misjudged corner and left easy header at far post. Third comes in injury time. Ach well, you win some, you lose some

Just to add the third one the PSV guy left Wielaert for dead so nothing changes.

For the record 2 subs Castillion went off injured and Claasen amidfielder came on and Bonevacia came on for Blind and it was him who put through his net.Probably inexperience he is only 18!
Enjoyed it for 80 mins untul their 1st goal !!!! The crowd made plenty of noise and a good atmosphere
