Ahh just looked on the site, theres a motif (im expecting back of neck) which features all of the Ajax logos throughout the ages. Ahh this is turning into a momentus shirt lol

Just worked out that with patches, name number and delivery its gonna cost me £97 quid :( really cant justify that ;(

If I haven't said this joke yet, here it is, I ended up pre ordering/ordering the away and the home kit with name,patch,and what not. I think with the money I just gave Ajax that their available summer transfer money just went up a whole lot.

The new shirt is out, doesn't look terrible, (though the modeling in the photos is kind of corny haha). Looks a little weird on the backside with a strange design. The one thing that I really dislike is the trend of "bodypainting" players with the shirt. Really how tight do they have to look?

From this season, Adidas is making 2 kind of shirts for every major club. One tide and one normal. The situation in Bayern is the same

Oh ok, I noticed in the goup Photo with siem, Mickey, lorenzo and Jan that they're shirt didn't look as tight as in the next photos where siem model's the shirt by himself si the difference really shows.

I think they've been doing that for a while, or at least Nike have, for years. I've got two large size 2004 Netherlands home shirts from that year, one's a standard replica (about £4.00 from Ebay) that fits me easily and the other is a 'player style' one that certainly doesn't (ahem) as it's much tighter.

Nice shirt anyway, I expect I'll get one when I'm in Amsterdam on my birthday as that's about the only day I can justify the expense at the moment by the time I've fitted it out with gold badge, name/number etc.....

i know a lot of people (myself included) would like to lose the arm stripes. but im really glad that theyre back on the shorts, and the socks are different too. i just felt like that for the last few years the socks and shorts were 98% the same. I just wish that the website would allow you to order long sleeve!

I agree about the stripes but people have been moaning about the 'Feyenoord collar' as well which I think is taking things a bit too far...when both teams play in the same colours there are bound to be some similarities.

i think theres always going to be people who dont like a new shirt, but i really like this new one. I was a little worried when i saw those shinny shirts flying around the net, but this is nice.

Also, nice to see they have put the keeper shirts up.

I like that thing that is on the back of the collar on the new kit.

Does anyone notice that on the promo pictures the collar covers the stars at times?

Question is do I wait till they have a sale to get it or do I jump right in.

What is sizing like? I bought the home jersey from the year before @ L and it's much too big for me! Though my older ones were all L *grrr*

So presumably Sigthorsson will be announced as our #9 in the next couple of days?

When do the new home kits start shipping(if they have't already) from the official team shop? I know the away is ready but I figure my order must wait till the home is ready.

Right guys and girls (if there are any there! ) im after ordering my new home shirt, and another away shirt. (my current one has no name/number)

Im undecided on which player/numbers to get.

its between,

Home - Anita 5 or Eriksen 8 (might wait for eriksen incase he does infact leave)

Away - Sulejmani 7 or Serero 25 (been really impressed with him in pre season)

I say Anita on 1 and Eriksen on the other man, i´m gonna order my shirts soon home i´m having difficulty choosing who to have, I want Vertonghen but, well you know...

Vertonghen (fingers crossed...) or Özbiliz would be my choice.

Boerrigter or Sigthorsson!

I've been vacationing in Wales for the last few weeks and went into DW Sports in Llanelli yesterday with my wife to help her choose some workout equipment. While she was changing, I wandered into the soccer jersey section and started browsing through it. There was the usual ManU/Chelsea/Liverpool kit, and oddly enough no Swansea City gear, considering we were about 15 miles from the Liberty Stadium, but lo and behold, what did I find? Last year's Ajax home kit, discounted down to 20 quid. Funny enough, they had one in my size.

So now I am the proud owner of a 2010-2011 Ajax home strip. And my wife was only annoyed with me for about five minutes. I consider this a win all around.
