I would also love him back.. Think I said it a bit ago on here that he would 100% bang in goals week after week.

I was sorting through all my old Ajax and Holland shirts out of my loft (as i'm moving house) and pulled out my old Huntelaar 25 shirt and instead of boxing it back up.. put it in the wash to wear! haha I love it.

From what I'm reading, our summer transfer list for the Striker position is the following:

1. Haller
2 . Huntelaar

Why not Janssen? Who do you value more. Haller or Janssen?

Haller is taller and a little quicker. Janssen has a nose for goal but it's not clear to me what his upside is. The fact that they are looking for a striker leads me to think that Milik will be sold if he has a good Euro.

Janssen is a strong guy, he's a great goal scorer but does so much more during a game than the average striker.

The England vs Holland game on Wembley was just a friendly, but nevertheless Vincent Janssen showed pure class. I would rate him higher than Haller.

Only problem for me is that he plays for AZ and our track record with AZ transfers has not been particularly good. I hope he doesn't turn into another Sigthorrsson!

Maybe his coach will join him again this summer?

Kolbeinn was in no way anything near what ever could be an Ajax striker. And already suffered from several injuries in his AZ time and even before he joined AZ. Not a smart buy. Another lad, Moisander, did it pretty good.

I would take Janssen over Haller too. Maybe Orange objects to his last name more than anything ;)

I too would take Janssen over Haller but KJH would be my first choice. This is assuming Milik leaves and I would say if he has a good Euros he will leave.

Haller is over rated, Janssen is strongly linked to Feyenoord and PSV

Yes the odds are pretty high that next season Janssen will play for PSV.

He an Luuk are about the same type of player though I think Janssen is better. Luuk failed in Germany and I can't see that he has much value. Do PSV want two strikers who cannot play other positions?

No, although Luuk de Jong signed a 5 year contract in Eindhoven, PSV and De Jong agreed that he can try again in a bigger league after 2 seasons. I don't see very high bids for him either, but you never know in the crazy football world.

In Eindhoven they want to sign Vincent Janssen quick to be faster than their Eredivisie rivals. Again they're betting all their money on Champions League qualification.

That was great fun with Dick Advocaat coaching them and disgusting players like Ola Toivonen, Dries Mertens, Erik Pieters and Mark/Lothar von Bommel getting very high salaries but not performing.

Now after a title in 2015 and getting into the final 16 of the Champions League, some people say that PSV director Marcel Brands is 'some sort of magician' with signing Guardado, Moreno, Luuk de Jong, selling Memphis Depay for much more than he's worth but he also wasted a lot money on Adam Maher, Narsingh and several others.

And is bound to get only 1 title in 6 years. When something like that would happen at Ajax, a lot of people would get fired.

Come on guys be real. Ajax fans can only dream to be in the same situation as PSV. Qualifying from the group stages of the CL, something Ajax have not managed to achieve in a decade. Even if PSV finish second, there is more confidence about them qualifying for next season's champions league than Ajax can ever dream about. PSV have stability, a good coach, versatile players, experienced players and young players.

We are to sign Excelsior's 17 year old CD Danilho Doekhi. A Dutch U18 int he made his Eredivise debut last month and is nephew of Winston Bogarde.FWord and PSV wanted him but he is happy with our plans for him. Probably Jong Ajax next season.

We will still need to buy a more experienced cover for CD if v d Hoorn leaves.

Timo Letschert should be available at the end of this season, not sure if he would want to go to Ajax.

If we could sign any defender it would have to be Fosu-Mensah.Played well today until going off injured ,then Spurs took Man u apart.

If he were still at Ajax he would not be in our first team squad even when Tete and Riedewald were injured.He would have been in Jong and playing U19 CL games and may have been unused sub instead of V Bruggen for those 2 games the other week.

I do wish he was with us.

Given he wanted to stay with Ajax, this may go down as the worst mistake Overmars has ever made. He was really playing well for ManU before the injury.

Following signing Doekhi,he is signing for 3 years, we have today signed another youth CD this time from ADO.Abdullah Aberkane.He is 16 next month and signs a 3 year contract from July to 2019.Liverpool wanted this kid but he has chosen us over a sackful of english money.

That happens more often. Not all the kids choose the sack filled with money over a good youth academy.

Lets hope Doekhi doesnt carry that ill disciplined and clumsy gene that was pased on to Bogarde
