Reserves cup and we beat Jong AGOVV Apeldoorn 4-0
Sno 2, Kennedy and Lewis one each.
Vonk
Will Oleguer,Alderweireld Supusepa,
Delorge, Sno, Sousa Campos
Kennedy, Lewis, Lazic.
Subs used not yet known but subs were Padt, Jongebloet Schell Hasselbaink plus 2 young A1 kids who actual have only really played for the A1 this season as subs, Mitch Apau and Tayfun Candan, both midfielders
Good to see Oleguer play and hopefully he will be fit for Groningen.

Yes, definitely good to see Oleguer back and Vonk getting some competitive action as well. Looks like Sno's best performance of the year too

Evander Sno , goal scoring phenom !!! Seriously though, glad to see Kennedy return to action. At least he is one more choice in mf.

Pleased to see Oleguer and Kennedy both played 90 mins. Subs listed were Schell 69 mins for Lazic, Hasselbaink 83 mins for Lewis, and rather surpringly Tayfun Candan for Supusepa 83 mins.
Given that I follow the A1 results and who plays ( official site and Ajaxshowtime always list the A1 team ) I was very surprised that Apau and Candan were subs as neither are regular starters for our A1 . Both are shown as mainly midfielders , (although any lad who has gone through the Ajax youth system plays in more than 1 position) but the regular midfielders for the A1 are Rodney Sneijder and Roly Bonevacia( at only 17 last week the youngster in the A1 ) both contracted pros .For the record
other contracted pros playing regular are Van Rhijn and Burnet in defence, Josefzoon on wing and Castillion as striker with Ebecilio ( only just 17) sub every game.
Sorry to waffle on but thought some of you probably do not bother to follow who plays for reserves or A1.
I just happen to follow not only the reserves ,where highlights are shown on Ajax TV ,but thanks to Ajaxshowtime follow the youth results and who plays .as they even list the B1 and B2 teams and games.

Young Heerenveen - Young Ajax: 0-0, this evening in Heerenveen.
Robbert Schilder, Vurnon Anita and Siem de Jong were the only first teamers in the line-up this time.

Thought players like Kennedy Leonardo and Delorge would be playing again!
For anyone interested the team was
Padt
Will , Alderweireld, Anita, Schilder(81 Lazic)
Claasen(59Lewis), Blind, Sousa Campos,
Martina(59 Hasselbaink), de Jong , Goossens.
So in the end it was a "Jong Ajax" team!

Ajax reserves had a friendly today and lost 2-1 to Nigerian u 19 team.
Schell scored for Ajax but official site shows no details of players other than those who did not play last night plus some A1.Jongebloet and Hasselbaink played as their pictures are shown and I assume Lazic, Delorge Supusepa all subs last night will have played. Very useful to have another game so that more players can get match play.

Once again Sno played as a striker - and once again he scored two goals.
Congratulations Young Ajax, you got yourself a new striker. We have plenty of midfielders for Ajax-1 anyway, so you can keep him.

The goals must have come from point blank range becuase Sno has not shown any evidence of being able to contol his strikes either with Ajax or the Olympic team.

He must fear an injury now, as he's the next one on the list: Aissati, Sulejmani, Oleguer, Enoh, Cvitanich. He's the only recruit who haven't been injured yet.

We always seem to have the absolute worst luck when it comes to injuries.

Playing time for fringe first teamers but not a lot for some of the reserves.
Good fight back to win.
Iwill check out that other site as I always watch the hightlights on Ajaxtv.

It's the same videos. Only the presentation differs, so you can watch the videos with every web browser for instance. I also think that the player is better and the website is clearer.

The links I post are from the AEGON/Ajax 'sponsor relations' website or whatever you want to call it. They're the same videos as the videos on Ajax.nl, but the AEGON site is great for me, as Ajax TV doesn't support Mac. I can't watch the videos on Ajax TV.
Ajax TV have their own YouTube channel, but they can't post the match highlights there (no YouTube permission from Eredivisie Live). But the highlights do appear on the AEGON/Ajax site, so I can watch them there.

Thanks for the info Menno. The pictues I get from Ajaxtv are full screen and very clear . It is good to see 10 min highlights of our reserves . Nice to put a face to the names and see the goals etc.
I see official site has now listed the subs and for the second week running only 1 used (Schell for Claasen 46mins) Would have thought they should give some of the lesser reserves a few minutes. They have done in most games this season.
2 names on the unused list to mention , Manucharyan is back, until his next injury, so why did he not get 10mins! The reserve goalie last night was Kostas Peristerides. He only plays for our A2 team but did get into the first team squad for a pre season friendly when had alot of goalies injured .He is only 17 and Greek. He is about the only player in our senior youth teams ie A1 to B2 who is not eligible to play for Holland.

We lost 2-1 to young PSV.
Vonk
Will, Alderweireld, Blind, Goossens
Enoh(72 Zeegelaar), Sousa Campos, Schell(46 Claasen)
Martina, Castillion(46 Bodul), Manucharyan
18 year old Marvin Zeegelaar, a left winger from our A1 team scored the goal. ( Evidently in the Ajax A1 game v Fword A1 game back in Sept a Juventus scout picked this lad out according to some internet report. However he has not yet been offered a contract by us)
Castillion , only 17 and contracted was also making his reserve debut.

So Sulejmani didn't play.. At least Enoh is back.

Glad Castillion saw some decent time and split the game with Bodul. Both of them could move up and debut with the first team quickly with Huntelaar's injury, I think it would be good to give one of them some time in the KNVB cup game this week.
Agree it's good to see Enoh back, hopefully he comes back strong and soon.

Glad Darko Bodul and Edgar Manucharyan played also. Two more potential options at forward positions in coming weeks.
