On the day Groothuizen gets a contract Jong pick the other A1 youth goalie who does not have a contract.

If last night was Jong Ajax tonight we have a youth team as 7 could still play for our A1 team. Sporkslede at 21 the oldest and I note Hendriks and Bakker were only 20 last month .Warmerdam at 19 the other non youth .

In the first half of the season Ligeon Denswil Duarte and Becker all played alot but have gone. V dHoorn Bazoer Menig and Tete played regularly but are now in the first team squad.There are also about 6 long term injured hence youth players are appearing.

Muric scored after 8 mins but after 11mins there was a power cut and the floodlights failed but the game restarted 40 mins later

3-3 at HT. Muric scored a 2nd to make it 2-0. Volendam scored 3 times in 4 mins to make it 3-2 to them and then Zivkovic scored a pen right on HT to make it 3-3.All this and a lights failure great entertainment.

A fine win by 4-3 for Jong Ajax with Warmerdam scoring a late winner. Dankerlui for Owusu and Acolaste for Muric were subs

Given Volendam are high up in the league this was a fine win by such a young side

Thanks for posting Benji I enjoyed watching it.Muric's 2 goals were superb and I wouldn't be surprised to see him make his 1st team debut before the season is out

Well still 7 teenagers starting. Veltman has played over 15 eredivisie games and that is the max for playing in the Jupiler league but the FA will allow players like this to play 1 match if they have been out injured for a while.

I quess Zimling has to have some match time but again his being here is a joke. Cannot get in the first team because 2x 18 year olds are better so he plays in Jong!!!!!!!

We have had some dud signings over the years but this guy is the worst.

A 2-1 win with Zivkovic scoring both. Achilles scored first,evidently a mistake by Onana on his debut.Zivkovic equalised before Ht and scored the winner around 73mins.

Veltman played 55 mins before V Bruggen replaced him. Sounds as if he is ready for the first on Sunday.Acolatse for Muric and Hendriks for Zivkovic were the other subs.

2 wins in 4 days and although 2 seniors played tonight the rest of the squad in both games were very young

home to Roda tonight 20.00 CET and its on tv so will be streams.

2-0 up after 10 mins Zivkovic , as usual and Riedewald scored.

livetv has a decent stream.Zivkovic made it 3 but Roda just scored so 3-1 to our kids

finished 3-3.In the 2nd half V Bruggen gave away a silly penalty when Sanniez was goalside of the Roda guy.

Their 3rd came on 91 mins so yet again Jong Ajax give away points very late.A very scappy goal.

2 good goals from Zivkovic,who is far too good for this level ,and the fullbacks Sanniez and Owusu impressed.Sporkslede playing in front of a back 4 of 18 year olds did well and we nearly held on .

Hendriks for Muric and Bakker for Menig,who played midfield,came on around 70 mins and A1 youth Dankerlui came on for Owusu for final 2mins.

Having been 3 up in 16 mins we should have won but Roda are near the top and a very experienced side.

Mad first half we were 4-2 up and Sporkslede was red carded on 42 mins. Hendriks,Acolatse,Menig and Owusu scored our goals


Sanniez replaced Muric at HT(not Mirani).Hope they will hang on to win .They are a very young side, oldest player now on the field only 20!

Finished 4-4 they equalised in the 95 th and final minute.

Honer the German striker made his first appearance of the season for Menig and Vissie for Acolatse were the subs

A very busy period as Jong play their rearranged postponed game v Den Bosch on Monday in the Arena.A bit odd Ajax agreeing to this date as our U19's play Roma on tuesday in the CL u19.(Sanniez Mirani and Muric all played in previous CL u19 games this season)

Jong Ajax dropped 4 points this week with late equalisers in both games but they are very young and the back 4
are all 18 and youth players.They are learning but holding on to a lead has cost them a few points so far.Putting up youth kids against seasoned pros they are running out of steam by the sounds of it in some games.

Of course in the 1st half of the season Ligeon Denswil Duarte and Becker all played alot but have gone. In addition basically after a max 15 eredivisie appearances you cannot play for Jong ,unless coming back from long injury ie Veltman. Thus most of our first team squad cannot now play. Tete Bazoer Riedewald and Zivkovic are the only ones who will be able to play Jong games(ok Zimling can but he is out injured for a few week)

Sporkslede is suspended for 2 games for his red card so I quess come Monday our oldest player will only be 20 but surely thats what Jong Ajax should be !

Boer is going to feel very old and out of place as Bakker at 20 is the only other non teenager in the starting lineup and Honer also still 20 the oldest sub.

NB.Looking ahead to our U19 CL tomorrow Owusu,V Bruggen,Sanniez,Riedewald, Zivkovic,Mirani plus Bazoer could play and also still play for our A1 youths.

Joking apart I predict a 5-5 draw tonight following last weeks 3-3 and 4-4
