I think the club is being financially prudent here. I wonder how PSV can afford to do this given they are not getting CL money this season.

Just saw the name in the Dutch U 19's last season .Know nothing about him just seemed odd seeing a youth int at PSG but evidently has a dutch mother.

There seems interest in Barca youths coming here.Apart from Muniesa we seem to be after 3 of Barca's young wingers Isaac Cuenca 21 years old, Christian Tello 21 next month
plus a Gerard Deulofeu ,nearly 19 and rated highly by Barca. Tello seems to interest Liverpool but I have a feeling we have passed on Narsingh as one of these Barca kids has been lined up.

On Narsingh it does seem strange we wont match PSV's 4.5m euros when last season we paid the same amount for our sub goalie and wasted 2.5 m on Serero who does not seem
rated any higher than our own youths.

Both Cuenca and Tello started a fair number of matches for Barca last season and I cannot see either of them coming here. Tello pretty much played on the left but Cuenca seemed to alternate between both left and right. The only way I see either coming is is for us to unload Sulejmani (both of them are far better than he is) for decent money.

EDIT: Cuenca has said he is staying at Barca. I suspect that this is another big rumor.

i think this one got away. i really do. the kid is fast and good with the ball. i get the whole overpaying on transfers policy, but come on. 4.1 million euros?? didn't we throw away 3+ million on failed el ham transfer to fiorentina last year? now they have 2 really good wingers. hopefully, their defense will still be crap next year, cause they are going to score a lot of goals.

I think they are going to have to sell Toivonen to balance the books and Matavz is really not very good. I don't rate either Lens or Wynaldum that highly We'll see how this plays out.

He is a young midfielder from PSG. He came to us because he will never break through with all of their high priced signings and his Motehr was born in Amsterdam apparently.

He plays/used to play in the Oranje u-19 team.

It's now reported that we want to take on Arsenal's Ryo Miyaichi on loan. He already served on loan period with Feyenoord. Why do we want to even consider this given that we already have a lot of midfielders both on the senior team and in the youth system? I can understand a defender or a striker, but a midfiedler? This doesn't make sense.

I don't understand why don't we put our priorities first. We have to concentrate on bringin Nuytinck or Moisander. Can't even imagin Daley Blind being Vertonghen's replacement!! remeber the utrecht game?

Talks about this guy Tobias Sana from IFK Goteborg as our possible new right winger?

Actually, Blind didn't look too bad in the Celtic game -- but I know what you mean. Don't understand why we are looking at r wingers -- imo what with Ozbiliz and Lukoki, r wing isn't one of our bigger worries.

Yes i don't understand it to. We have 3 wingers for left side(Ebecilio,Fisher,Boirighter) and 3 wingers for right side(Sulejmani,Lukoki,Ozbiliz).
But we have only one striker and no back up at all, and of course no proper replacement for our captain in defense. We need an experienced defender - i really don't understand why we missed out on Boulharuz - he signed for Sporting Lisbon on a free transfer last week.

We have one striker in Siggi and a back up in Siem.

If those 2 both get injured, I suspect FdB will do a VdB i.e. Vincente Del Bosque and play 4-6-0 ala Spain @ Euro 2012
