Overmars needs to stay the course and the team will be alright. The only player who needs to be sold because of an expiring contract its Tete. I would like to see him extend but that won't happen.

I think the appointment of Keiser may have changed the thinking of some of the players.

That would include Riedewald's way of thinking, could it also apply to Tete? If, given a scenario, no clubs come in and make a bid for him?

Westermann now officially gone to Austria Wien . A silly signing for us never an Ajax player.His contract with us ran another year but it has been dissolved so he leaves on a free.

Tete and Dijks should leave this week.

Just read where Tete wasn't among those going to the Ajax training camp, so that would seem to be a pretty good indicator that he won't be with us this season.

We are getting 5m euros for him which is decent amount for a benchwarmer in the last year of his contract. Still prefer to see him to Veltman but good luck to him.

A 4th youth has left to go abroad.Anouar El Mhassani ,16 ,has joined West Ham on a 3 year contract.Earlier in the week 17 year old Kees de Boer signed for Swansea on a 3 year deal. Both players were released by us.. Clearly we wanted Redan but the 4th player Lopez, went to Monacco and loaned to Cercle Brugge.He is 18 and did not get a contract offer by us.

Last year we released 4 kids who went abroad , 3 to Italy and the other Baars to Man u.

Seeing kids released going to mid table EPL sides and to France and Italy is only new in the last year. To me it shows we have a great youth academy that even our drop outs get picked up abroad. The kids will all earn 3 year deals and more money than staying in Holland but it is not good for Dutch football in general.

Ugh - Riedewald has been allowed to talk to other clubs and is actively looking for a transfer.

Riedewald was given the number 36, while de Ligt was allocated number 4, previously held by Riedewald, so this gave him the impression that he will be a squad player next season. He is certainly going to leave. Best of Luck Jairo!

Dragi Gudelj , the younger brother , has left and joined Swiss 2nd league team Wohlen. He played little football for us in his 2 years and certainly was not good enough for Jong Ajax last season.

NB Lyon confirmed Tete went for 4m plus add ons.

If we get €10M it's a more than fair price. I think the problem is that he never excelled at any of the three positions that he played at. Inconsistency was his chief problem. Hope he can get squared away in England.

Viergever is not being allowed to leave .His contract runs out next year but Overmars says they will get round to talking about an extension.

With just de Ligt and Sanchez as CD we cannot let Viergever go now that Riedewald has gone.

Danish MF Bay is on trial with a Danish club but Leeuwenburgh,Sanniez, Leyder have not been used in pre season games,ie. Savastano Bergsma Mazraoui Dankerlui all used over the last week with the first team squad.

4 loaned out last year still to go.Dijks interests Birmingham but nothing on Muric, Menig .Groothuizen ,goalie who was in Denmark last season is still injured I believe.

AS Monaco want Kasper Dolberg to replace Madrid-bound Kylian Mbappé. The Monacans are willing to pay €45 million.

I doubt Dolberg is willing to go, but in football, nothing can be ruled out.

Dolberg needs at least this year at Ajax - and probably another one after that - if he wants to see his football career reach its maximum potential. Stepping up before he has properly matured - physically and mentally - would stagnate his development.

The money is just getting insane. I seen reports that complaints will be filed with UEFA if Neymar's transfer to PSG goes through under the Financial Fair Play rule. The management of Lyon is really angry because of the huge amounts of money that PSG are spending (which are largely petro-Euros from their middle East owners).

Markus Bay, Danish midfielder in Jong Ajax has left and signed for Viborg in Denmark. He has had a lot of injury and had a contract to 2018.Best for him as there are a few midfielders now in Jong Squad.
