He's likely not to be as good as Denswil and I say keep with the Ajax youth. Toby will be a good mentor since he broke into the starting lineup at about the same age.

Denswil will be going through an adaptation process next season. Having Moisander will help ease the process of including him in the first team. I'm also in favor of having Denswil as future replacement for Vertonghen but it might help to have a player with more experience while Denswil adapts to first level football.

You are both right. In fact if Jan leaves, we need 2 DC's cause Ooijer is retiring and we will have no bench players. What about Shone???

Sad to say this as a fellow finn, but Moisander isn't even close to Verthongen. Or maybe that too harsh. Let say he isn't as versatile as Jan, who bring so much offensive skill to the team. Moisander is an ok defender in eredivisie standards, but not exactly CL material. Then again who is that we could afford? I remember a finnish paper quoting that AZ rate him at 5 million€. Hmm, at leat a million too much.

Where would Schöne fit in? Wouldn't he be playing at Eriksens place? As I understand Eriksen isn't leavin yet. Would he trade his current play maker role in NEC to a bench at Ajax?

I wonder what this means for Castillion? He returns from loan and I know he's been hurt while at Waalwijk but I'm not sure he has impressed.

Assume the new boy will just play for Jong Ajax next season and they will look to see if Castillion can replace Bulykin in the first team squad.

Yes Lasse Schöne has signed a contract for 3 years. I expect Lodeiro to leave Ajax in the summer.

Schone indeed has been signed by Ajax now, but did you think that Lodeiro would stay at Ajax? Due the injuries he played more than expected, especially in the first half of the season. Also scored some important goals for us so he had his worth in the titlerace, but lately with everyone back he has lost his place in the squad again. So it wasn't likely that he would sign a new contract.

He was unlucky having several injuries when he was new at Ajax. And breaking his foot again during the World Cup. He never really got into the squad. Ajax was fighting a strange battle with AZ to get Lodeiro. Maybe Nicolas would have become a great Eredivisie player in case he went to Alkmaar instead of Amsterdam.

It was Suarez who convinced him to come to Ajax. They both came from Nacional de Monteideo, so Suarez had a big influence on him.

We have a HEAVY rotation potential in the midfield and wings next year. I wonder where will De Jong, Eriksen, Janssen, Anita, Schone etc will fit... Couldn't say the same for the DC. LB and RB ok.
