Ajax have tried to brand almost everything they can but unfortunately the club doesn't have the same standing that they did 20 years ago. I live in an international area and one sees lots of caps and shirts of various football teams. I'm probably the only one who regularly wears an Ajax cap.

I don't know if Sanchez stays for an additional season or not. IMO, he's still not a finished player and would benefit from an extra season at Ajax.

With regards to the central defenders leaving. Reidewald is finished, hopefully Ajax replace him with Rick van Drongolen. If Sanchez leaves then hopefully Leo Santos of Corinthians

I think if we play CL next year we may be able to keep some players as well as attract some more talent. But playing CL is key.

Unfortunately it's not enough to keep the nucleus of the squad. Even Younes is now linked to RB Leipzig

The EPL with its money is killing football. Outside of this league there are only 3 clubs who can compete financially Real,Barca and Bayern. I dont include PSG ,a big fish in a small league. EPL pays its players far too much ,pays 16 and 17 year olds silly money and make the kids think they have made it. Although they have nearly all the money they still dont do much in the CL.

This thread is mainly for 1st teamers but there should be a few Jong leaving this summer,although most of that squad are contracted to 2018.Gudelj junior,a defender who has barely played any games in 2 years is on trial at VVV.

Dankerlui,Sanniez,Alblas and Clement all 2 years at Jong should be moved on ,even if just loaned .Leeuwenburgh,Bay and Leyder have been injured most of this season and really not sure whether they have a future here.

I would like to see Leeuwenburgh as back up for Onana. So pleased that Onana renewed his contract

Robin Ruiter, the Utrect #1, is being let go. He's only 30 and Ajax might be interested in him.

Wenger is staying at Arsenal and has said he will stay in charge of transfers so dont see Overmars leaving this summer.

I guess we won't get very much money for that signing as this is really not one of the bigger Belgian clubs. I wish him well as he does have some talent and is still quite young. It does show what happens when Ajax get into a panic mode and spend money on players without thinking things through.

I know Kyle Walker, their RB, is probably going to leave as they have not extended his contract but Alderwiereld is contracted untill 2020, IIRC. Veltman is no Alderwiereld and I don't think he can play RB in the EPL. This one sounds wrong to me.

Kenny Tete is on the radar for Inter Milan & AS Roma. I hope he slips out of their minds! This is a team in the making, Tete is part of that making! 18 year old U19 winger Andersen Lopez has joined Monaco on a 5 year contract.He has been loaned out to their feeder club Cercle Brugge. Antonucci ,who left to join Monaco in January has also been loaned to Cercle.

Lopez not rated an outstanding talent ,has not been offered a contact by us so cannot blame him leaving.
