Love you guys SPL and Orange14. Just ignoring Southampton-Man United to see this Ajax youth game.

Damn that was some terrible defending at the end, but a 3-2 win and also a goal from Clarence Seedorf his cousin who plays as a defender for RKC Waalwijk.

We won 3-2 in the end . Becker ran though and a nice shot for no 2 and then he ran through crossed along the line for Zivkovic to score another easy goal. He did nothing other than slot in 2 easy goals. In the last 10 mins they looked to score a goal but not sure why it wasn't given .Then Collin Seedorf,another generation, scored for them. Our goalie then went off injured and with the last kick of the game they scored although it was diverted into the goal by Tete.

Acolatse for Hendriks was a sub and 18 year old A1 youth Indy Groothuizen the sub goalie. He is not yet contracted. The other Jong goalies Leeuwenburgh and Mous are also injured so if either Cillessen or Boer get injured in the next week Indy could be on the bench for the first .

RKC looked very poor but not for the first time this season we faded in the last 10 mins ,clearly this is down to playing such young fairly inexperienced players at this level but still a good learning process.

Yes, the last 10 minutes was more reminiscent of the senior team who have given up cheap goals late in matches.

It's great that we can watch some of the youth games on TV now. It's also nice to know I'm not the only one, at the start I wondered if I was the only person sitting at home on a Friday evening watching youth football ;)

As I just mentioned in my latest youth rant, we will probably see Indy Groothuizen play in goal tonight as all 3 Jong goalies are injured.

Alblas,the lad who went off injured v RKC has torn his cruciate ligament in his right knee and could be out for up to 12 months. Leeuwenburgh the first choice of the 3 has just had a shoulder op and wont be fit for 3or 4 months and Mous having been out for most of the season first with a hip injury and then an ankle should be fit in the New year.

V d Hart is on loan at Go Ahead but is now their first choice goalie in recent games so I don't see him returning.Ajax may need to sign some veteran goalie on short loan for the second half of the season in case either Cillessen or Beer get injured.

Finished 2-2. I watched most of the 2nd half but not very exciting and although no commentary I did follow our players just about. V Bruggen scored in the first half and Menig missed a pen. Tete made it 2-2 with a decent shot. (subs I believe were Becker for Muric at HT and Vissie for Bakker and Acolatse for Menig in the 2nd half. )

Last Jupiler League game before the winter break a 3-1 victory at De Toekomst for Jong Ajax against De Graafschap.

Final game before the winter break 3-1 home win over de Graafschap. Menig with 2 goals and Hendriks 1 goal

Sheraldo Becker has been loaned out to PEC Zwolle for the remainder of the season. Think it's a good move.
