No train station in Volendam so its either a bus,which is an excellent service or bike.

Heracles relegated .Playoff final ADO v Excelsior.Hope ADO win .

Meanwhile in the new U21 league, where champs can be promoted to div 2 and then to KKD, Young Feyenoord lost the play off to Young Almere.Feyenoord, the spring champs, and Almere,coached by Hedwiges Maduro the winter champs.

Young Almere will now play 2nd div Young Volendam (coach Kiki Musampa) for a place in Div 2. Only 2 Young sides in Div2 ,the other Sparta.

NB. For Young Feyenoord to get to KKD they must get to Div2 and win the title.That means a playoff with the lowest placed KKD Young side who finish 11th to 18th.

If a Young side finish 19th or bottom of KKD Young Feyenoord would be automatically promoted if they finished in the top 2 of Div 2.

I know ADO are unpopular with Ajax fans but I hope they win today and get promoted. A proper Eredivisie club with a good ground.

Excelsior promoted.It was 1-1 in Excelsior and today ADO were 3-0 up but Excelsior scored 3 goals in the last 15 mins . It was 4-4 after ET and Excelsior won 8-7 on penalties.

Seems like ADO fans rioted throwing missiles fireworks etc and held up the game. Their fans seem as bad as Feyenoord's and reading Ajax showtime all our fans are delighted ADO lost.

Saw the game last night and I was happy that they remained in the second division. They always play like maniacs against us. If I'm not mistaken, they have made racist attacks against Onana or some other Ajax player in the past. Good riddance

psv lose at home to rangers and fail to qualify for the cl

Bad news if you ask me. Weaker PSV means weaker eredivisie. They’ll probably get more coefficient points in the EL than they would in the CL, so that offsets it a bit.

Saw most of the PSV game and it was so sad. They did have some good chances in front of goal but missed all of them or shot right at the keeper.

If they couldn't beat this Rangers side which didn't look anything special, I'm actually glad that they're now in the Europa League.

PSV's MF was the real weak spot. they don't have much creativity and lack a good play maker.

My overall summary is that PSV is built to counter-attack. However that doesn't work if the other team sits back.

I do think they're a bit of Jekyll and Hyde. In the Eredivisie, they feel confident and then consequently play confidently. In Europe, they look scared and then don't play as good.

PSV lose away to FC Twente. Ajax will gladly take the dropped points!!

PSV drew 1-1 against minnows from Norway . what a rubbish side they are in Europe. They lost to Rangers and the gulf between the sides was evident last night as Ajax just played Rangers off the park with an exhibition of total football.

Actually Bodo Glimt are not a bad side. They made a deep run in the UEFA Conference League last season. They should have won in Eindhoven last night squandering a couple of chances in the last five minutes.

RVN has almost conceded the Eredivisie title in an interview from yesterday. Something like fighting for the title is the main focus and not winning it.

It still irks me that we managed to lose to this bunch in the JC Schaal.

psv lose 4-2 in Groningen. I only caught the second half at which Groningen were up 3-1 but what a second half. Psv had so many chances in the first 15 minutes after the break but Groningen cleared several 100% chances and goal keeper had some great saves. Of course psv came back in the last 15 and almost equalized but then Groningen scored in extra time. 4 points clear now

Great result and AZ and Feyenoord also lost.Good weekend for Ajax

PSV and AZ both win tonight and should both be through to KO's stages . For the good of Dutch football Feyenoord need to win in Graz.

Bad news Manu finish 2nd and as the 8 x 3rd place CL sides play the 8 x 2nd place Europa group teams we could play manu. This is a qualifying round for the last 16.Odds on us getting them although who ever we play I think we will struggle.

We can only draw one of 7 teams as PSV finished 2nd in their group and we cannot play them. Here are the possibilities:

Rennes (FRA)
Roma (ITL) - would love to stick it to Mourinho
Union Berlin (GER)
ManU (ENG)
Midtyilland (DEN)
Nantes (FRA)
Monaco (FRA)

Hope for the Danish side or maybe one of the French sides. Roma will be tough and Union are top in Germany.

PSV lose to AZ 0-1. AZ get an early goal off a blunder by Veerman and make it stand up. VAR pulled back a PSV goal in the 2nd half for off side.

AZ only draw at Volendam so we win tomorrow and say Feyenoord v PSV a draw we will be back in the race.
