EDIT: Found the answer. English clubs will not be able to sign U-18 players as that is prohibited under FIFA regulations but permitted by the EU. Dilrosum, Malen & Fosu-Mensah would not have been permitted to move to the as 16 year olds. Additionally, established players cannot move to EPL teams since the league has a requirement of participating in at least 45% of NT matches which is a pretty high bar.
According to me, this is going to work out really well for us. We will still lose exceptional players, but the overall talent drain will reduce. There is just so much money in the EPL that clubs which players would not have even thought of moving to 5 years ago, have been able to get players from everywhere.
This will help us keep our above average players for a year or two longer. Also this would help us keep our 16 year olds. But you still can't stop them being poached by Spanish, Italian and German clubs.
If all that this does is allow us to keep our players for just one additional year, then this will be awesome.

The Brexit has triggered a chain reaction including countries like France, Italy and Spain pushing for a referendum. If that happens that would be even better.

http://www.gazzettaworld.com/news/serie ... efresh_rum With Frank de Boer strongly linked to be the coach of AC Milan, he is first choice for the Chinese consortium. He also wants 3 players from Ajax, El Ghazi, Milik and Bazoer. I doubt Bazoer would leave. But would love it if he signed the other two forwards!

Doubt Bazoer will leave and certainly not for Italy but cannot see Milik playing with FDB as de Boer not really trusting him is the reason he has had enough of Ajax and wants out .
I hope we never sell any top players to Italy ,they dont have any money ,will offer and hope to pay alot less than we want and take for ever to pay.
Last week
Fiorentina rate Veltman 8m euros
Juve 12 to 14 m for Milik
Juve 20m for Bazoer
Hopefully Ajax will tell those clubs where to stick their offers.

We paid just under 4m euros but he has a contract for 1 more year and until the last half of last season was just a bench warmer. Not sure we could get much more for him we have bonuses and sell on fees to add on. A bit surprised a Premier club signs him not sure he will play regularly but we will see.Good luck to him.

Premier League clubs play a lot of matches with 20 teams in their league and two different cup tournaments so they always need some extra players.
Several bench warmers at Ajax turned out to be regular starters in other European football leagues.
Peter Bosz wants, compared to De Boer, play in a more attacking styles with his defenders being lively and dynamic in the field play. When having that mission and more ambitions than we had the past years, a slow, listless guy like Mike vd Hoorn is the very first you want to get rid off.

Poland out means Milik should hopefully sort his future out very soon. Still not sure he is ready for the top just yet.Hope he gets another season here as Schalke seem to want to keep KJH.

Lucas Andersen to Zurich Grasshoppers for 4 years .No fee quoted but reports say 1.5m euros plus resale clause.
Lots of talent but very lightweight .
Only players officially left to sell V Rhijn Serero Becker and Duarte

I wish Andersen well. I agree with SPL, his major failing was being too light on the ball. Maybe he can succeed in the Swiss league.

Schone says he is staying ,he has had talks with Bosz and wants to stay . He has a contract to 2017 but being 30 Ajax wont be insisting on him extending. He will useful as a sub and his experience will count with all the kids in the squad.

V Rhijn asked not to play today as he is negotiating a move, likely to be away next week.

If Ajax intend to sign a winger, then surely Schone should be put on the transfer list. With Van Rhijn moving away, almost imminent, that leaves Ajax with two left, Duarte, who will likely leave on loan to another club, and Serero. I know I have mentioned him in the past, rather unfavourably, however, he does have champions league experience, if Ajax have injuries in midfield, which is inevitable, he can be a useful fringe player.

Serero is a useful player with experience but v d Beek is in the squad and along with de Jong and Nouri all need to get some first team playing time.
Schone will likely sit on the bench but his experience and age should be a benefit with all the kids in our squad.

I have nothing against Danish people. However if you look at recent history, there is an interesting paradigm. After the first Danish wave at Ajax in the early/mid 80s, Ajax did well in Europe in 1987 Cup Winners cup, after they had all left and after they had all left around the turn of the century, Ajax came so close to booking a place in the semi finals in 2003. Can history repeat itself again?

C. Brugge say nothing concrete with V Rhijn they have spoken to Ajax and the player but nothing agreed.I have seen that he earns 900,000 pa with us ,doubt whether C. Brugge will want to pay him that!

Zivkovic is unhappy about not being in the squad for the AFC pre-season game and wants a move to Utrecht (who've indicated interest in him) accoring to the Telegraaf.

I guess he's probably correct that he won't be in Bosz's plans for this season if Milik stays. But who was the second choice striker vs AFC? I thought Milik was still on holidays...

Dolberg was the 2nd striker v AFC ,Cassiera played the 1st half Dolberg the 2nd. The fact Zivkovic was behind Dolberg for this game suggests he has no future. He played for Jong Ajax in a friendly the next day and scored the winner ( 2-1 vHFC ,non league side).
