I only saw the first half of the Poland match (wife and I went to the movies on this bloody hot Sunday). Thought Milik was quite poor as he did poorly on two decent chances (just like at Ajax). I'll have to watch the highlights to see the goal.

I think Boilesen is being serious! Reading some comments from Dutch guys on Showtime that there is interest from Germany but their 2nd division.

I don't think I've ever seen a player as delusional as Boilesen. His father is his agent and maybe he is just as looney. Good luck to the player, if he keeps this up he won't have a club to play with next year either.

Trabzonpor looks like a very pretty city. It was the setting for a wonderful movie that we saw earlier this year "Mustang" There was a really funny part when the team had to play behind closed doors because of an unmentioned incident and they were able to play in front of a women only crowd. the young daughter sneaks out and gets a ride to the match.

I wonder if he's suffering from being a millenial. Maybe he thinks he's an awesome football player right now because he's always been told that he's awesome. This is downright delusional behaviour to me.

Sam Hendriks has left and signed a 3 year contract with Go Ahead Eagles for a small fee. Never good enough for us lets see what he does for the Eagles.


When we sell Milik his old club in Germany will get 30 % of the sell on fee.20m quoted for someone who we paid 2.8 m for and has had one good season in Holland would a great amount and we would pocket 14m ie about 11m profit in 1 year. I wont complain.

I won't complain if they use the money to improve the team -- if they only use it for shareholder dividends I will complain plenty.

Milik's transfer value took a huge hit tonight. He had the two best chances of the match to score and flubbed the lines both times. Additionally, he had a chance to send Lewandowski clear on goal and passed to the wrong side of the striker. He did play hard though.

He turned over the ball a few times in the first half too, just like he does for Ajax against opposition that put pressure on him.

Silly rumour from Italy Fiorentina want Veltman have been quoted 8m but thats too high!!!!! (PSV asking 15 m for Bruma who is no better.) I bet Ajax want 15m but the italians wont pay more than 8m!

It is concerning that Veltman is rumoured to be wanted by a number of clubs.

If Veltman was to leave then v d Hoorn could stay and Sanchez could be signed. We have a hugh talent at CD called de Ligt ,likely to play Jong this season but he is not 17 until August.

Ajax need to sort out which Cd they will sell.As for V Rhijn I see him going on loan on 31 August.

Veltman has more sales value than van der Hoorn. I think van der Hoorn made a significant improvement in his game this season.

Even if we are offered €15, he should be sold. I just don't think his ball skills are good enough for Ajax and we have ample replacements right now.

2.5m from an EPL club seems too low, doesn't it? 25m would be brilliant for Klaassen.

We only got 5m for Fischer and he is a forward with 1 year left on his contract ,v dHoorn also has 1 year left is only a bench warmer and a defender so 2.5 m seems ok .De Vrij and Martins Indi only realised about 8 m each for Fword and they had played in a World Cup .

I think we are planning for El Ghazi and Milik to go but Veltman probably wont now leave.Cillessen and Klaassen are also possibles to go .

I know that these are only rumors at this point but Juventus seem interested in both Milik and Bazoer. They have already lost Morata as Madrid exercised the option to bring him back (they will probably sell him for big money to an EPL team in need of a striker). Milik is valued between €12-14M and Bazoer at €20M. Certainly that is a good price for Milik. I'm unsure about Bazoer right now because he tailed off so badly at the end of the season. He's a great talent to be sure but has some real flaws in his game. My feeling is that if Ajax get a serious offer of €20M they should take it. It's almost like the Babel to Liverpool deal some years ago.

Bazoer says he wont go this summer and I dont see him going to Italy.We turned down 25m euros from Napoli in January.

Let's see how he does in the remaining Euro games -- so far he hasn't exactly covered himself in glory.

I wonder what the impact of the Brexit will be on English teams poaching young Dutch players.

EDIT: Found the answer. English clubs will not be able to sign U-18 players as that is prohibited under FIFA regulations but permitted by the EU. Dilrosum, Malen & Fosu-Mensah would not have been permitted to move to the as 16 year olds. Additionally, established players cannot move to EPL teams since the league has a requirement of participating in at least 45% of NT matches which is a pretty high bar.
