There's been news that Wes may not go at all, so I don't see why more rumours of replacement are popping up
That's from a site where you can post your "own news", so the reliability is very doubtfull.bluedaddy19 schreef:i heard we want delgado from besitkas to replace sneijder

This is from the UEFA site, 3 weeks ago:Cmon1983 schreef:Anyway, why I'm writing to this topic... anybody heard the rumours that Ajax want to sign hungarian midfielder Balázs Dzsudzsák from Debrecen. It's in main headline on the most famous hungarian football website . (www.nb1.hu) , so I'm curious if it's true or not?!
And this is from the Debrecen site:Dzsudzsák's form has seen him come to the attention of scouts from all over Europe, with the player revealing he had been watched by representatives of Dutch giants AFC Ajax and Belgium's RSC Anderlecht. Debrecen will hope that Europe's best can get a closer look at all of their players should they battle their way to the UEFA Champions League group stage in 2007/08.

Apparently the player has been mentioning Ajax since April. Haven't read a thing about the guy in Dutch media so my guess is that he's using the name Ajax to get attention focussed on him from, perhaps, an English club. That's where the money is. Sound likely to you?Balázs Dzsudzsák is in the focus of Italian and English teams

The still 20-year-old player has an effective contract with DVSC-TEVA, and therefore the club can decide on Balázs Dzsudzsák’s career.
One of the key players of DVSC marching towards the championship, Balázs Dzsudzsák shows topping performance week by week, and therefore it is more and more frequently aired that he will not charge the goals of the opponents in Debrecen from the summer. The player has confirmed that his name has been listed at the Dutch Ajax and the Belgian Anderlecht, yet recently observers have visited our matches from England and Italy, as well.

Barcelona in partnership talks with Ajax
Barcelona are in talks with Ajax over a partnership agreement.
Negotiations have progressed positively, says El Mundo Deportivo, though no final decision will be made until the end of the Spanish Liga season.
The deal would see Barca exchange coaching staff, players and medical services with Ajax and would see their brightest young players loaned to the Dutch club to gain senior experience.
Bojan Krkic, Giovani dos Santos and Marco Crosas could all start next season in an Ajax shirt. The Dutch club's football chief, Martin van Geel, has also expressed interest in senior players Santi Ezquerro and Thiago Motta.
Well said !The Purple Cow schreef:Nonsense.
Ajax is not a Dutch club, it is an international club.
Only in the sense that it has international fans and players. But it's based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and the majority of its fans are Dutch so in the most part it's a Dutch club. I don't care if a Spaniard, Brazilian, Serb or Japanese plays for Ajax, I as a Dutch fan, wouldn't want it to be completley foreign as it wouldn't represent me, that's all. No talk of not being ambitious or intolerant or whatever. I embrace every foreign fan and player, simply because he's Ajax. I simply don't want my heritage connection with the club to be gone. The Purple Cow schreef: Ajax is not a Dutch club, it is an international club.
I can assure you that ajax wont become the inter milan of the netherlands, you said it yourself it`s a heritage thing, and the roots run deep in the tradition of what ajax is, that is something i believe will never be lost... plus we have always depended on our youth system....as long as the sneijder's, babel's, and van der vaart's keep coming ajax will always have a dutch core.ZoefdeHaas schreef:Only in the sense that it has international fans and players. I would like to see an agreement with Ajax loaning out players to Toronto FC of the MLS. I know that Ajax were looking for an MLS partner franchise. I was going to suggest it to John Jakke when we were drinking beer at the same table together a while ago.Van basten schreef:Barcelona in partnership talks with Ajax
