If Sunday was utter dispair then last night was a high as nothing better than seeing the scum lose. Big team!!!! 2 European Cups the same as Nottingham Forest.

Hopefully Liverpool will win it.

Oh yes, except I'd even agree more if by "at times" you really meant "all season long". That's how GOOD our players were back in the times....

Were they not owned by Berlusconi, who also owns the main Italian tv channels, AC Milan would have been relegated for fixing games and not allowed to compete in the CL.
Shame on the UEFA.

It was a sh*t final to a sh*t competition with a sh*t champion.

Statistics speak for themselves :
Shots on goal : AC M 3 Liverpool 4
Shots wide : AC M 1 Liverpool 6
Imagine that : a "champion" with a total of 6 shots ...

PSV wordt bij de loting voor de Champions League net als in voorgaande jaren ingedeeld in pot twee. Dat betekent dat de landskampioen in de groepsfase één sterke tegenstander en twee relatief zwakkere opponenten treft. Ook Ajax wordt ingedeeld in pot twee, maar de Amsterdammers moeten zich nog wel eerst zien te kwalificeren voor de groepsfase.

Do I understand correctly : Ajax would be in pot 2, if they qualify, just like p$v ?

So it seems due to our UEFA coefficient of 65.995.

Correct.

The draw for the third preliminary round is on 27 July. The games will be played on 14/15 August (first legs) and 28/29 August (return legs). We even know the possible opponents:

Sparta Prague
Fenerbahçe
AEK Athens
Dinamo Bucharest
BK Rosenborg
Spartak Moscow
Red Star Belgrade
Toulouse
FC Copenhagen
Dinamo Zagreb
Racing Genk

A few of these still have to make it through the 2nd qualifying round, but our opponent is very likely to be one of the above. We'll be one of the seeded teams in the qualifying stages. Which means: no Liverpool or Arsenal or anything like that.

Copenhagen sounds like a nice one...
