It does not look good for the Dutch clubs in the UEFA Cup...

AZ lost 5-3 (but I have a feeling they might make it), Feyenoord face a seriously tough trip to Romania (1-1 in an empty Kuip) and both Willem II and Heerenveen are almost certainly f*cked (2-0 away loss).

My gut feeling: either AZ or Feyenoord will make it, the other three will crash out. That's in the first round of the UEFA Cup, mind you...

'Cause one of their fans threw a firework last season in the Uefa Cup I think...

Yeah, it was during their game against Sporting Lisbon: a kind of fireworks bomb was thrown at the goalkeeper and the UEFA penalty was one home game without fans.

AZ are according to Swedish media interested in Djurgården's Johan Arneng (DIF's best player this season, hard working central midfielder) and Tobias Hysén (also DIF, who I was going on about in the Rosenberg thread this morning...).

Two excellent players. Hope they don't get them though, would weaken Djurgården very much.
