I know that Kennedy played a few minutes against 010, but has not been on the pitch since then.

What's the story? Is he out of favor? Out of form?

Anyone have any idea?

The reason why he's not playing is - Luque
Btw, Kennedy scored 2 goals yesterday for reserves. We lost to Heerenveen 3-4

Kennedy has indeed a bit of bad luck because Luque plays reasonable.

Kennedy and Luque are similar types of players, both have an excellent crosspass and they are both not very fast. I think that Kennedy is struggling to reach the higher level that is needed at Ajax. Luque on the other hand is playing with a lot of flair, its clear that he used to play on this level. But Luque is a bit lazy and although he isn't the fastest player on the field, he sometimes thinks he is.

Kennedy should be in midfield, replace De Jong or someone even though he's pretty good. Kennedy is definitely not my attacker, too slow, and not much of the wide man.

I would think that, although it's not his natural position, Kennedy could play where S de Jong plays -- as an attacking midfielder.

In any event, it's good to have depth there.

A bit of a surprise, but a very pleasant one: according to the Voetbal International website both Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe want to buy Kennedy from Ajax. Both clubs are said to be seriously interested.

That would be a great move for Kennedy, and it sounds as if it could be interesting (financially) for Ajax, too.

My cousin for many years is Galatasaray fan. And Kennedy to Galatasaray seems pretty much doubtful to him.

There's interest from Greece, apparently, but Kennedy himself has made clear that he doesn't want to move there.

To me he said he wants to move to Germany or England.... for what it is worth.

His performances with Ajax suggest Bundesliga 2 or The Championship for him. Can't see him, Swedish international and former solid player at FCT notwithstanding, cracking an EPL or Bundesliga side on current form...what there is of it.
